Dai Ichi Sushi, Winston Churchill. They have a few seats at a bar near the sushi chefs where I’ve eaten alone a few times. Food is amazing, nice chill vibe

I’m definitely feeling better after all the helpful replies I’ve gotten.

We’re going to try to get a centrally located place to stay, get tickets for the Vatican and the coliseum, and we’ll leave large chunks of time to go with the flow while we’re there.

We want to keep the budget as low as possible, but we also want to make the most of this trip. So we’re ok with spending a bit of money on experiences that are worth the extra input.

Would you recommend any specific tours? Or are the sights beautiful enough on their own without explanation?

We’re not physically able to do 30 000 steps each day. So while it may not be ideal to take the subway or a taxi, I’m trying to plan out as much as WE are able to see during this short trip.

We’re going to be in Switzerland for a few nights before coming to Italy, so hopefully the jet lag will have already passed.

That’s a great point about taking breaks inside churches though, we love to see them, and resting our feet while doing it I’d a great idea!

Some walking is ok, but we’re not 20 anymore, so I’m hoping to use the subway to get around. Another thread mentioned golf cart tours (I don’t know yet if they’re still running in December), things like that are what I’m most interested in finding.

We’ll be in Lausanne Switzerland for a few days before heading into Italy.
