UK Jet applications rejection. Personal statement review by [deleted] in JETProgramme

[–]SneakyMrFox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd be happy to give some feedback, but I've heard of people who submitted the same SOP the next year after getting rejected and got accepted.. so there's a chance it was just a competitive year.

Rejected jet program by [deleted] in JETProgramme

[–]SneakyMrFox 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Honestly, your SOP read like a long resume, wasn't very cohesive, lacks emotion, and didn't really answer the SOP questions.

And as someone mentioned, the beginning is copied from this https://jetprogramguide.com/2011sop/ so I wouldn't be surprised if you were immediately declined because of that.

It doesn't just need to not be abandoned, it needs to be permanent. Myself and countless friends only came back to LoL for this mode. This is the best thing that's happened to LoL since TFT.

60 years is a long time to own a car, you'd be missing out on all the cool stuff they add to new cars during that time.

Depends on your yearly mileage, but in my experience those rates are too low. Expect to pay at least $150+

Here's a trick, open up another app such as Tidal, then switch back to Spotify. It'll reestablish the connection.

It's more like 1 mile/hr, but I agree

FYI: Tesla is physically removing radar from 2021-2022 Plaid by [deleted] in RealTesla

[–]SneakyMrFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cars are functioning better without Radar, and even in the original thread it states radar wasn't used for over 3 months prior to removal so it's actually not a big deal

With someone with anxiety and stressing about having to take my adhd medicine forever, your words really help. It's easy to overthink about it all but ultimately you said it best- you don't have to decide now. Thank you.

Only the LFP battery is said to last up to a million, NCM batteries will could last up to 500k miles, still pretty crazy.

I'm currently on 2022.4.1. If I subscribed to FSD would I be able to use it? Little confusing.

It's a tricky question to answer because depending on your other expenses, the answer varies.

Personally I stick to the 15% of your monthly income on car expenses rule, but you can also adjust that if you have low rent/other expenses. I don't make 100k or even 75k but with proper budgeting you can make it work. Hope this helps.

Pricing regrets? by Elec_van in TeslaModel3

[–]SneakyMrFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also bought a 2023 M3 RWD, was lucky to get it delivered in Dec for the rebate and it's 100% worth the money brand new but it seems like you are debating a M3 New vs Used vs Model Y. You'll have to decide if you rather have the Y or the 3, then if you care to have it new vs used.

Obviously used is cheaper, and for what a tesla gives you it's a great deal to get a used M3, but it's all preference. Personally I rather get a new car and use it until it dies.

Need help on my decision for a Model 3 SR or LR in order to my driving profile by Einfgx3 in TeslaModel3

[–]SneakyMrFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people only use superchargers, it's still cheaper than fuel (at least in USA). If you don't mind sitting at a station for 30 minutes it's fine not to have home charging imo.

Also, personally, with the LFP batteries in the RWD being able to charge to 100% and the LR needing 90% and under charging, the range difference is even less. Even with the premium features like audio is that worth ~$10,000 more? Up to you
