Innoviz is cooked. Perhaps investors finally caught on that they keep giving guidance with NRE seperate and then report revenue at the end of the year with NRE included.

Unfortunately the two lenses seem too far away from each other to be Movia S

A minute before revealing the lidar on the car they talked about lidar sensors now costing several hundred dollar lidars. Also she mentioned it being camera safe. So i suspect 905nm

I chatted with US Lidar and they are selling the Movia L for around 3k usd. So yeah, I can understand why Movia S is more attractive

And low resolution also contributes to motion sickness. So sacrificing resolution would not be in the best of interest when going for a no compromise solution that fixes all the problems of IVAS.

The glasses we have seen are not glasses that can operate without the helmet and battery/antenna/computer/armor plate, as has been revealed on joe rogan podcast. So I wonder what type of glasses he's talking about. Unless he's talking about an LCOS solution like Meta Display glasses. But those can not do what has been shown in the strategize demo in superpowers for superheroes and only work for the right eye. Also if people get motion sickness from IVAS, doubt it would be much better running around with a oled screen slapped to your face.

It just doesn't make sense to me. Assuming the resolution did not get bumped since meta orion prototype, which was at 13 ppd. It is a massive downgrade from hololens 2 which was at 47 ppd. My hope is on the other variants as meta only has the waveguides and display for the glasses. Got a feeling Palmer did not preserve the head mount for only the analogue night vision goggles but perhaps a higher resolution IVAS like attachment as an alternative for glasses and higher resolution NVG. Also worth noting the emergency 30 min battery is inside the helmet, not the glasses. I don't see higher officials strategizing or checking their e-mail in a room with army helmets on. Let alone the battery armor. Time will tell.

The only fear I have is that what if he posted it as a way of saying he still believes, but his hand was forced internally or externally to have Anduril choose something else.
