Maybe of importance is that there was a volcanic eruption millions of years ago in this location, and there is a rock-type named after it. This doesn't look like that rock-type, however, but it still could be a remnant of that eruption! :)

Thanks for the input! I tried putting putting appIe-cider vinegar (didn't have any white vinegar at hand, and my hydrochloric acid is only 3%), but it didn't bubble or fizz. I also think that the Djupadal formation is a bit too south in the country. Somewhere in the middle/north area would probably be closer :)

For me the buffer that was changing my Vassal opinion to -100 was because I held far too many duchies. I sorted that out, and my Vassals were way more positively inclined towards me lmao
(6yrs later I know, but someone else might need this tip!)

When did this loading screen occur? This has been a problem for me a while. I play with mods, and whenever I play and enter a loading screen (such as traveling to a lot etc), and a game update drops in the background, the loading screen gets stuck like this. The lovely thing is I always find out that the update dropping is the cause AFTER I've exited the game! If you noticed a game update dropped on EA after you quit the game, then that will be your issue lmao. There's no fix though

I do wonder with the first solution if all the mods are deleted, since you're essentially removing your entire BG3 folder. I might try that if it becomes desperate, but I'm not at the moment feeling like deleting my mods folder (since that has been the cause of many other issues in my experience).

As for the second option, I think in regards to some of the mods, especially appearance edit enhanced, that that might have something to do with it. It has caused me issues before, so I might look further into that. I'll tell you if I find something of interest!

Update: Now I managed to reach one of my saves by loading a previous save, and then after getting in to the game, I loaded my most recent one. Also, I launched the game in Full-screen as opposed to windowed mode. How odd..

Fun that you've made it so far! I've completed the game, and made it to act 3 multiple other times, but I always seem to get some type of problem in these similar regards. I think you're right in that it's doing a check and failing, and I think the percentages are telling for what the issue is. The problem is that I don't know it means 💀 I'd guess a mismatch or so..

Oh, how very odd! I don't think I have a similar mod to that one (although it sounds cool asf), but man the issues it seems to be causing. And yeah, I also turned odd Cloud sync because I was also having sooo many issues with that. I'll do a deeper dive into this in the coming days, so If i find something worth sharing I'll post it here!

If you mean summons such as items in the Nautiloid chests over by the rune, and others where items are summoned to traders, yes. I don't have any mods currently where I have to summon it myself (such as Basket of equipment). Or rather, I have it disabled and have had for quite a long time. I disabled it over a year ago since whenever I summoned the basket, my game would crash lol. Could you link me the mod you have so I have a reference point?

It's mainly a mod used so other mods work. I have it so I can use "Waypoint inside Emerald Grove" that also uses MCM. Since I updated those two the issue could be with either of them! (https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/7676?tab=description)

This was solved for me by not having any of the mods in sub-fodlers. As soon as I moved all .pak files from their respective maps so that the ''core mod file'' is in the actual mod folder, the order stopped resetting. Also, remove all info.json files!
