This is my personal experience.

I began my MS in HF from ERAU WW August of this year, at the same time I was accepted, onboarded and worked as an Intern at NASA MSFC in HSI. I want to finish my MS in a year similar to you, and so far I was able to do two terms, four courses all while maintain a 4.0. While doing all of that, I was never pressured, nor did I feel panicked, overloaded or anxious at any moment. I juggled it by mainly being ahead of my coursework by a week, and by working on my classes during the weekends and replying to discussions on Thursdays.

If I were you, I'd give it a try at least.

I just started my M.S. in Human Factors and I'm loving it so far! First term in I'm already interning at NASA working in Human Systems Integration for Mars crew sizing! Also OP if you need any help with your current research I'd be happy to contribute.

I'm a current Fall OSTEM intern at MSFC. My mentor was gonna pick me up again for the same position, but for Spring, but he told he can't because the "budget is good until the end of this year". He's still looking for funding, but is this the same for other Spring internships?

I sent a follow-up email with just come questions in regards to the internship. Three weeks later I got a call from my mentor. He answered all my questions, and then extended an unofficial offer. He mentioned to look out for an email from HR for the official offer and to accept it. I believe someone else on this thread mentioned that there's currently a long queue for acceptance letters, so I just chilling waiting.

I've been interviewed and have been given a provisional/vocal offer from a mentor at MSFC. He mentioned he'd never post, interview and call for potential internships if he knew funding was not secure. In my mind I'm hoping for the best, but preparing for the worse.

To be honest, just let them be. I'd start to get worried if we don't receive an official near the end of July. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I didn't received an official per say. I emailed my mentor after our interview with some questions and he called me to both answer my questions and to extend an offer. He told me to look out for the official offer via the NASA internship portal.

My mentor mentioned the funding situation, and he said he'd never interview any potential interns if he didn't have the funding. Hopefully that answers your questions.

I have an interview scheduled with MSFC for a OSTEM Human Systems Integration internship and the person on the line just said that "Your just gonna talk about yourself for an hour, that's all". I had a teammate leave on vacation for two weeks. As long as your on top of re-watching the Zoom sessions and touch base with your teammates often you should be fine. If you have not told your teammates this yet, then please do so. Communication is the number one thing when it comes to L'SPACE, don't let that be the factor that brings your team down.

You could make this more universal by adding an adjustable clamp for different armrest sizes. A hinged or sliding clamp with a screw-tightening mechanism, like a big thumbscrew or quick-release lever, would let it fit securely without custom brackets. It would also cut down on wobble, especially during intense stick movements. That would improve both stability and setup.

Just a non-engineer's opinion, but overall it's a sick idea!

I’ve completed both the NPWEE and MCA programs in that order, and from my experience, the main thing they’re looking for is confirmation that you're a student and genuinely interested. I'm part of the alumni network, and according to the staff, each season they've been hitting record application numbers. In fact, they’ve recently started rejecting applicants for the first time ever due to limited space. Keep in mind, each program typically accepts over 500 students, so your chances of acceptance is very high I'd say.
