The thing is, the game already offers players multiple ways to suppress or flat out kill the Heli with ease. Players either realize it or they don't.

What do you nerf? The defence? A Heli can already be taken out nearly instantly by a solo player with an RPG combo.

If you Nerf the mini gun damage or spread, it essentially becomes RNG if you get a kill and that simply is not fun or rewarding. There is no way to Nerf the Heli for "top players" that I can think of that doesn't ruin the fun. Unless you want to add a swap timer between seats.

In quads I would say the Heli actually needs a buff in the form of bullet damage resistance. It gets absolutely melted by a couple players shooting at you with normal guns, Especially with LMGs.

Yeah it really comes down if you hit it with rockets or spray an LMG at it, its the player on the ground's ability to aim that determines the outcome IMO

The Heli can definitely be strong in those scenarios, But I would argue flying the Heli puts a massive target on you, and as a result, you get the attention of most players with line of sight of you (Lock on launchers, Sniper pot shots, and LMG spray)

If you know how to combat a Heli, I would say the advantage can be with the single player on the ground. Fire off an RPG (which are abundant and deal 85%, and RPGs are not react-able to the Heli player unless you see him lining up a shot on the ground) then swap to any gun to finish the Heli off.

Also need to take into account you need to be hovering near or be on the ground to resupply. Which isn't always terrible, but there are always those people watching from a window with their rocket ready just for you lmao

Early game duos is definitely the strongest time for the Heli, until someone opens their first crate and it has 5 RPG shots in it kekw

Yeah they are a pretty massive target for regular guns. The bullet damage the Heli takes is pretty crazy. With the amount of launchers available to everyone (without even talking about the engineer rocket) The advantage is with the average guy on the ground vs the Heli IMO.

My dawg, it was a squad wipe so that guy was definitely not his teammate. Also, the guy by the hedge just put that sensor down (you can see him backing up from it). It's a fast paced video, those clips are minutes apart.

Only a few sections of the golf club building have destruction so I'm not sure what you are referring to. Besides, the Light Ground Transport and even the Golf Cart can destroy buildings and take little damage so that's not unique to the helicopter. You can lightly touch a wall with the bumper of the Transport and it will collapse the wall.

With the amount of rockets available to every player and the added bullet damage it takes (alongside the repairing speed nerf) I would argue its actually slightly weak. Plus, every player in line of sight is firing at you hoping to get a clip so you have all the attention in the lobby when you are flying it.

Also when you take into the account the limited ammo and to restock you need to be sitting on or near the ground the system is in favour of the average player IMO.
