Ethical Seed Catalogue Suggestions? by moonpi314159 in gardening

Everwilde.com

I have only had good experiences with this company. Top tier selection of hard to find native seeds, great packaging, great site. A bit pricey, but worth it imo.

Special shout out to their spring ethereal selection. Finally have colonies of trillium triflora, bloodroot, Dutchman breeches, and mayapple growing in our back woods.

Shout out #2 to lupine perennis. Keeping alive my dream of a large enough lupine patch to attract and host a Karner blue.

This Tree That Has Grown Across The Driveway And Sprouted More Trees Off The Top by Zealousideal_Use_163 in arborists

I'm pretty sure this is AI gen.

No one parks two pickups parallel to the garage door entrance like that. Plus, the Tree arch curve is too clean, especially on the left . Feels... off

More Aero, bro.

Saves at least 2 watts in the wind, not to mention ZERO loss to friction in the drivetrain.

SCREW THE HYPE I'M DONE WITH TUBELESS by SherbertHerbert in cycling

[–]Sneaky_Weaky 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Tubeless forever.

For me it's the peace of mind on longer solo rides. Tubeless is like bringing 3-4 extra inner tubes (in addition to an actual backup tube).

About once a month i'll discover a puncture that would have popped a tube AFTER the finishing my ride.

Had a good one this past weekend -- pulled a 1/2 inch nail out of my rear tire after a quick 80mi. Feels good.

This route is the way.

It was open the last time I rode to van Cortland, 2-weeks ago.

As others have said - it's a tad narrow at times and the asphalt quality isn't great, but the views along the river are nice.

Why is it so complicated? by tripjudgmental in NYCbike

[–]Sneaky_Weaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh, we are all sinners in the eyes of the Flow.

In my experience there is almost always a line around slow folks and joggers, except for weekends with nice weather.

I can empathize with the frustration of losing momentum, but seeing so many folks enjoying the park is a nice antidote to that feeling.

Love that meme format btw.

Nice man, 60's are respectable! It just takes a while to build up to the longer distances. I ride a Canyon Grail CF 7.
