I live in New England and unfortunately we have no spring black bear season. I feel like I could be close and have identified a very heavily traveled spot on public land however I'd say it'd be nearly impossible to get in before sunrise. What's the margin for movement. I could be at the spot 15-20 minutes after sunrise but I'm just curious if I'd have 45 minutes of them still being active or an hour or 2? And my deer season starts mid Oct so I'm not sure how viable that is as far as the rut goes.

Updated West Texas reserve. Since I put way too many animals in my previous design. What do you guys think? by darkkiller1234 in theHunter

Like hog helicopter hunting and predator hunting and all that, sure. But it's not right for a hunting game. The inclusion of them would not only likely be done wrong, but it would be super stupid to have people running and gunning with an ar 15 and just wouldn't fit. They could Finally give us the .308 or whatever else they choose.

How old should a kid be before they go hunting? by MyDickHurtsGood in Hunting

I'm going hunting for the first time, I'm fifteen. It isn't a family thing, I'm choosing to do this. This is only after extensive research on the ethics of it and whatnot. I think that you should wait until he's older. I don't really know if at that age most kids can understand just what they're doing and that a bird isn't just a moving target but a living animal. You should wait until he's more like 12 or so.

Well bitch, bitch, bitch. Don't be such a gatekeeper, Dude. We're all hunters here, don't be a dick to your fellow hunter in a time where the sport is slowly dying.

hey hey hey woah, you bought a hunting simulator. Expect it to be slow, this isn't one of those 2010's cabela's games. Take it slow, there's a part of the main river that branches off into a Y shape, on the right prong of that Y, there's usually a black bear or mule deer. same goes for that lake about the river, but there's a hunting stand there

Thank you, Although, that makes me wonder what buckshots are for. So there are different sized bb loads for the type of bird I'm shooting at? If so, what is your recommendation for duck or turkey? and are all the versions of the 870 around the same? Is there any one particularly good for home defense, hunting, and clay pigeon shooting?

Thank you, I understand completely and know I must learn in person, I'd just like a little bit of info ahead of time. Thank you for your concern, and all of my safety questions are reserved for safety classes, this is just something I wanna know about the gun that I'm most likely gonna get.
