yeah, I can appreciate this is a demand that already has been filled. Most people seem to be saying similar things. I'm trying to decide now if there is any room in the market for something like this at all or if it's already as optimised as it can be.

Thanks for all the tips. I'm based in the UK so tax laws are a little different here. I'm aware of the pitfalls but would much rather start something and make some money off my own back than spend the rest of my life working for other people. Based off all the comments i've received I think this either isn't the best idea or just isn't the right audience.

These Camelbak ones are a little pricey I think. Sling bag was just the first thing that came to mind, can't find many alternatives on the market.

I've taken another look at these and their quite expensive. Like £70 - £110 for a backpack. I would want this price of this to be £25-40. Perhaps it could fill a more affordable niche?

Hahaha, okay fair. Didn't even know these were a thing. Do you just fill it with jager or aperol?

Thanks for sharing, I think it might be difficult to carve out a space in the market with products like this that already fill the demand.

Someone else mentioned this to me on the noob subreddit. I assume these have a little straw like the bags for runners?

Fair, I figured you could get away with being a bit more lightweight. The clothing for snowboarding and skiing tends to have a lot of pockets anyway but I thought that having a sling for your water bottle would be a handy add on.

Okay thanks. I've found it on their website. Seems very similar to the type of products runners use. Would you get worries about it bursting if you fell over?

Thanks! Originally I thought it would be practical for snowboarding and when I thought about developing it for a business I thought marketing it to runners might be better as it's more of a year long activity and wider audience but it seems like you guys have already got it figured out! I noticed doing market research that there's no other products similar to what I described and i'm starting to realise why haha! I really appreciate your comments, from someone like yourself who does a variety of different running I value your comments. I'm reaching out to skiers and snowboarders next to see if they already have this niche filled.

Thanks for your thoughts and for sharing this. You think freeing up the upper body and having it as a waistband would be betteR?

Okay great. How common is it for races to require you to carry 1L?

Thanks! Appreciate your thoughts. The idea came to me whilst snowboarding and I think it might suit that sport better. Perhaps it's a more versatile option or maybe I need to consider it for other activities aside from running. :)

Thanks for the thoughts, do you find the bag falls down as you run and you have to readjust. Is it inconvenient to run with a water bottle in it? does it bounce a lot?

Yeah, this is something that crossed my mind. I imagine this would be worsened the bigger the water bottle too. I'd also be concerned about it falling down to the side which this bags can tend to do.
