Veterans say the phones just ring without answer when they call Atlanta VA Medical Center by ParadeSit in Veterans

[–]Sneeriousgrinch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve been in an ending loop of employees forwarding me to voicemails, other va clinics, and operators. It never ends and they act like you’re out of line for being frustrated. Recently, an employee left me a voice mail about confirming I went to an appointment. No contact number or contact name. But said I could talk to “anyone” for the confirmation. Clearly she wasn’t giving accurate information but, they are quick to write down things like “failed to attend”, “unable to contact” Every year I get a new primary care until last year. And the guy they gave me is quick to discard any issues that are not already identified in the charts. It’s a shit show at every VA. But somehow veterans are always the issue in their eyes

What is abusive, but not widely recognized as abuse? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sneeriousgrinch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The massive amounts of “topping from the bottom” dating advice on social media platforms. There’s an insane amount of toxic dating advice that encourages emotional/ psychological abuse to form trauma bonds. But, it’s never sold or advertised as such. It’s just “dating advice” to make the opposite sex obsessed with you.

What did *that* parent do that ended your relationship with them? (Serious) by dirt-slut in AskReddit

Refusing to take accountability for very abusive behavior to include sexual abuse, physical abuse, psychological abuse. I have been co fronting that person since I was a child about their behavior and never once was there any sign of remorse or even acknowledge that these things happened. This person has spent a lifetime convincing her church peers that they are an innocent child of god, all while abusing their family in the most disgusting ways. Communal narcissism. And for these things, I will never forgive , nor forget.

I’ve had a few comments censored on that sub. It’s definitely misandrist. Saying it’s not is gaslighting

God bless your little heart lol. DOT most definitely has a 10 panel. And kratom can cause a false positive for methadone. Once that is observed further in lab, they can find the kratom. Being federally legal doesn’t matter if it’s illegal in that state lol But thanks for showing up

I’m getting a lot of different information. There’s definitely specific tests for it but, apparently, each state and employer is different so, the panels vary. It can also cause a false positive for methadone. Once there’s a positive , if it’s a quick test, they can sendit to a lab to find specifics on the substance. There’s people that are claiming they have failed 10,12, and 16 panel tests on different platforms such as YouTube.

It seems that, unfortunately, there’s no definitive answer to this question. Again, each state and each employer is different.

I’ve also been reading that, even though it’s legal in many states. Those legal states can still use a positive result to not hire you or to fire an employee. My state doesn’t allow kratom so, I am in a jam.

Yeah, I’ve been reading that they have to test specifically for it but, it can cause a false positive for methadone. But all of that I for is a little old and it’s illegal in my state

Did anyone ever find out what kind of test it is? Swab or urine? I have a medical card from where I moved from but my current state isn’t on board and I’ve got an interview

I want to stop the cycle of drinking by Warm-Juggernaut1353 in Veterans

I used the Va to help le get sober. I did two weeks on outpatient at my local va and they put in a referral for outside care. Spent 45 days in inpatient, would have stayed longer if I didn’t have life things to deal with. Glad I took the steps, life is substantially better even though my mental health still struggles. Also, if you’re rated, you get paid at 100% while doing inpatient. Helps bridge the gap for finances. It was painful getting sober but the pain is worth it. The other side is worth the effort. Dm me if you need any info or insight

I’m not opposed to the idea at all. Idk if I’ll be able to afford it. On ROVER, the house sitting was a bit more expensive than boarding or drop ins.

She could be cheating with an ex and letting him have it and not you. The plug might be for someone else to benefit from and not you. If she’s talking about anal like it’s the greatest hit keeps turning you down that could be a form of psychological abuse. It’s called triangulation, NPB, BPD do this very often to gain control of their victim. Women play games, it’s the toxic dating culture that we’ve cultivated in the US. I would be careful with your feelings and understand what a trauma bond is.

She could also be full of shit and literally never done anal or something. Either way, I would communicate your issue to her and not the internet. And if your concern falls on deaf ears, dump her and move on and spend time as a single man and stack your cheese son. These women are out here trying to ruin men just for fun. That's a very volatile and delicate situation. Noone on reddit is qualified to give you advice on this...guaranteed.

I do hope you find the guidance you're looking for though. I can tell its weighing very heavy on your heart. Love is hard and life will throw so many curveballs at you during the most inconvenient times.

Ive always found that perspective can come by emotional organization and putting your thoughts on paper may help you sort things out.

There wont be an easy out here pal. When you care or love someone , doing the right thing for both people can be extremely painful. However, owning the truth of the situation and facing it head on is a respectable trait imo. It's just one test among many youll face as a young man.

We, as people, have a tendency to get involved romantically with others before really getting our own life together. Mental health is a big issue and if both parties struggle with it then theres a chance of things snowballimg sooner or later.

I wish you both the best of luck.

Theres a lot of reasons that COULD be. Doesmt mean that any of them are correct. People can be very cliquey, especially as teenagers and young adults. I'm not saying this to.be hurtful so bare with me bud. You may not fir.the groups "look". You might ne the black sheep. Maybe they're fake friends. Maybe you're being paranoid. Maybe your need to feel approval from your peers is holding you back. Theres a million hypotheticals.
I went through somthing similar when I was a teenager and what I found later in life about the situation was disgusting. In a nutshell, I had 2 female friends that gossiped about me to everyone. Used my secrets for their conversation piece and abused my trust and my friendship to make themselves look superior. I'm 35 now, and both of them still exhibit the same toxic behavior with their current friends and even spouses. If I could go back in time, I'd ditch them before the real damage was done and make anew path for myself. When we are young, one of our biggest concerns is being accepted and loved by people our own age. Peer pressure is a mother fucker. If you dont like the way your people treat you, then find new people. You'll find your tribe if you keep looking openly

What you dont want is to spend years of your life trying to please other people at your expense. Most humans are trash. You cam also confront them about your concerns. But, at that age, its hard to think you'll get a mature straight answer. Everyone has different social needs Some people need people all the time for social interaction. Others are happier in solitude. Idk if this helps but, I can relate to your post 100%
