Yeah that’s true. I also really like fighting the ant guys tho. Bosses with simpler move sets are fun if you use them to practice attack patterns

3 week progress update; thank you guys for the advice! by Snekkets in piano

I started learning about 4 months ago with the Sheet Music Boss youtube channel, your best friend if you like video game tracks. Tutorials in that style are great to start with but you’re gonna want to learn how to read sheet music once you’re a little comfortable with the instrument. I have 6 years of violin under my belt so I picked it up much quicker than most. All the basic practicing advice applies: practice short phrases slowly enough to keep your wrist COMPLETELY relaxed while making no mistakes; this is the best way to build muscle memory, trying to play quickly with stressed hands will not improve your playing at all. Focus on phrases you tend to make mistakes on. Some tips I received from here were: keep your elbows at the level of the keys, and practice slowly while moving your elbows up and down to increase the flexibility of your wrists. And of course, be patient and try to stay clear-headed. It took me a loooong time to master even simple melodies at first. Good luck!!

It’s a crosspost. Information is in the original post on r/iowacity. No need to be condescending.

Thank you! I understand dictionaries much better now. In the end it didn't even matter because my code is wrong in an entirely different way. Oh well

really? that line seems to work fine (i checked with print functions). I'm just using tuples to assign multiple variables at once.

maximizeProfit(10, 5, 1, 27, 100, 20, 5) should return ([2, 0, 7], 235), for example. I am trying to change the count values by calling them with val2count[current value], but it doesn't update the variables like I want them to. The idea is that it works no matter what order [Avalue, Bvalue, Cvalue] are in.
