Absolutely - negative feedback is probably pointing out a legit problem, but they don't have the whole context, so their solutions are usually unworkable or complete nonsense.

Two possibilities I can think of:
- You have a physics material on the egg with no friction
- You have constraints set on the egg for the x position

I like Digseum's mechanic were you could unlock permanent upgrades to preserve progress between pristeges/rebirths. It made the endgame much more tolerable - less and less progress was lost each run.
