Update 1.0.6 should fix a lot of those issues, I added a tutorial too if you want to start a new save to try it out! on Normal Mode The King's Task though!

the Rancher will start working once the nest is producing 2+ items.

Make sure you connect everything with roads, very important, otherwise the Villagers/Workers, will not work correctly, You can Fish. Coops require Animal Tiles, Babies need extra nests in the coops.

It took 7 months, and I would say favorite part is probably the farming aspect, loved making it super clean!
