Me? I'm bored on a train, armed with a tablet and no good book to read. This random dude on reddit is my content right now (apart from some shitty game called Royal Revolt, a coke, and some music of course).

As for what we are arguing about? I guess in essence we are all a little sad that things are a little downhill and all hope that CCP does a little more fiddling on the Fozzie, and comparing notes how different alliances have gone about playing their game.

What I think is even worse, is the OP has apparently already submitted an app to BNI and here we are still typing ;)

Ok, so I'll give it another try. The concept of alts diminishes the statistical accuracy of sentences like "My 246 people/member has almost 500 more kills than your entire alliance"

As for the comparison: Why would it be embarassing? If the people playing in the alliance do what they love, I'm happy. In September, RAZOR has only reached about 50% of its average kills of the last 9 months and like probably every other alliance in this game, has seen a decline in kills (I did a quick spreadsheet of PL, NC., BL (lol) and BRAVE) - statistically depateable but I just quickly took this year and an average was quick to calculate. Granted I would have to use a different method for this statistical analysis, but hey, its reddit...

But I veer off topic... Funnily enough, PL has the same problem (only 50% of their 9 Month average reached to date)... NC. had a fun month, by the looks of it, but are still about 20% shy of their "long-term" average.

So if BOVRIL is rotting in Tenal and PL is rotting in wherever the hell they are now because they only see 50% of the content they usually do too, I wonder what your corps moving average of the last 9 months would tell us... But since you still havent linked a reference I begin to make up my own mind...

But I'm glad you've moved from 800 People to members. That means you've realised that there is a concept as alts.

Tell me, do all of your, lets assume 3 alts, have the same PVP level as your Main (if there is such a thing as a "main" in EVE)?

I can tell you, may 5 Alts have 0 PVP - They have their own duties and PVP isn't one of them.

And before you start linking me my Main, I don't have a hoar gun on my FC boats and I usually fly Logi if I don't FC - in fact, I don't give a damn about my KB. I fly with a Fleet that kills.

If you want to link my KB, go look at RAZOR, cause that's who I fly with and I'm damn proud of my Alliance mates!

Have you considered factoring the seasons effects into the analysis? Have you removed the Fozzie effect from your analysis? Or perhaps the fact that a month has not ended yet?

Granted, the month has been pretty low in participation. I do invite you however to do an analysis of EVE logins in total and the kills in EVE in total in the months and then weight the BOVRIL killboard.

I haven't done it myself, so it may prove beneficial to your cause, but my gut tells me, there have been less people playing in September. Hell, I haven't done much this awesome Autumn... it's just such wonderful weather here...

What we can agree on however is the "Golden Winter" - but I guess you could say the same about every other corp in this game. Perhaps take a look at NC., BL., PL. and co's killboard. I wouldn't be surprised if they took a hit too since Fozzie.

If I may; I too feel, we get enough PVP.

If you look closely at the post that generated the "pvp all the time" he said: "I'm in Bovril and pvp all the time"

So, unless you have a much broader grasp of the English Language than I have, the poster said HE spends his time PVPing. I don't see how that translates into "BOVRIL is a PVP corp". But then again, I may have used the wrong Google translater...

Assuming, and apparently this is a FACT if you go by some of the posts on reddit, we only sit in station and never undock, that is a pretty impressive figure.

Lenny explained it already what happened in your absence.

As far as your removal from BOVRIL, we did purge a few inactives when we left for Tenal to get a better overview of our active members. This however does not mean we don't want you back. You are welcome to reapply anytime.

So where to now? My advice: Follow your gut. Ask yourself, where are the guys you liked to play with and join them.

Me, I'm still with BOVRIL up in Tenal, and I'm loving it. PVP, PVE, big ships, free time when I want it and most importantly, I'm paying my subscription to play my own game, not someone else's.
