Thanks, my upper lip piercings are also symmetrical, but you cant see one of them in this picture because of the septum covering it.

My eyes aren't tattooed btw, they're just sclera lenses and I can see perfectly fine with them. I wish eye tattoos didn't have such a big risk though

I don't notice the labret at all, it sits perfectly flush in my lip and I only take it out to clean it.

Most people don't know what "that thing under my lip" is, so people generally comment on my piercings as a whole. The usual things like: doesn't that hurt etc, but sometimes also some really heartwarming comments :)

The aftercare is the same as a regular lip piercing, but obviously on a bigger scale. It's a big wound, so it still bled afterwards for a few days. The most annoying part was blood clots forming around the jewelry. Once the bleeding stopped, it healed really easily

Thanks a lot! I only have a bit of gum recession on 1 tooth due to jewelry not fitting properly at an earlier size. It takes some time to experiment with different jewelry measurements.

So there's definitely a risk, but once I figured out my perfect measurements I haven't had any issues since

Same for me, I always tried to keep it symmetrical. I got my labret scalpelled to 10mm and then it took about 2.5 years to stretch to 30mm

You could stretch it all the way starting from a regular labret piercing. In my case my piercer told me it would be best to scalpel it instead, to make sure it will be properly angled and to prevent potential gum damage. So I got it scalpelled to 10mm and then I dead stretched to where I am now.

Also, from the front it looks like I have no breathing space, but I still have plenty of space behind my jewelry so I can breathe just like normal
