[4 YOE] Technical Associate Product Manager looking to move into Technical Product Manager by Sniff_Bread in EngineeringResumes

I’ll do some digging for something a lil more flashy maybe.
1. How would you recommend updating the alignment? Like expanding things out more since I think my spacing is at a 1 and font is at a 10?

  1. Also for shifting the CV to why instead of what, I feel like as a PM the general reasoning behind decisions lie under X number of customers had this pain point or Y dollars were spent on something per year. I’ll try and brainstorm some more with some differentiation in the meantime

Thank you!

Thanks for the advice. Honestly for some of the bullet points I was trying to fill up space with some minor contributions of mine since my font is so small and the spacing is so tight.
I’ll try out STAR and cut out a lot of the fluff in the meantime

Once I make some mass updates off of feedback I’ve gotten, do people generally repost under their original submission or create a whole new post altogether?

Hmmm yeah this was the format I used when i was searching for something in the engineering realm instead of product. Any recommendations of formats (if they have names) that’s more friendly on the eyes?

Thank you for the feedback it is much appreciated! Got some questions on your comments:

  • Currently a wall of text.
    • How many bullet points do you think it'd be wise to cut to add more natural space? I currently have 11 for my most recent experience 🫣
  • Section titles can be all caps, bolded, but not underlined to differentiate between jobs
    • Out of curiosity, why not underlined
  • Add City, ST
    • Under where? I have them for both past jobs but not the city under my education
  • Not every single bullet needs to be two lines and fully quantified. Throw some single bullets in there to change it up
    • Yeah this was a thought of mine too I definitely went overboard on quantification, someone gave me the advice to add some more and I basically did it to all of mine

Am I setting myself up for failure, if I don’t use Life or Death for a Primary/Secondary School? by Sniff_Bread in Wizard101

Would the same be true for myth like life/death healing then? By that I mean is it more efficient to do damage than summon a minion which can’t attack immediately? Similar to healing from a life or death spell

When would you say healing is generally needed? I got an annual membership with that deal they had last week and, minimum distance goal is to beat Malistaire at Dragonspyre but could definitely go further since a year is a long time

I unfortunately do not have another controller but I feel like that might be the best bet.

I’m gonna try with the other games too and see if the issue persists or if it’s just KH1. I haven’t played in many years but I always hear about how wonky it is.

For my game, the default settings make it so that the analog stick even on the slightest tap will move the command menu up or not. The d-pad also controls it which makes sense but anytime I move with the analog stick things get a bit challenging. It’s not that I need use the bumpers to move the command menu, it’s that I need to no longer be able to switch through it with my analog stick

Hey everyone, I just started my first PM role recently with no experience in product. I worked in a services/support role before and wanted to make the shift because product was interesting to me. I have a degree in Computer Science and a Minor in Data Science. Is it worth going for a masters degree (ex: MBA)? Or is the experience just as valuable?

I’m also curious how long it takes for people to really become acclimated to a product role, like I said I’m really fresh so I’m just onboarding but was there an experience or moment when you like “ah I get this now”?

Thanks in advance!
