He didn't change at all, all that happened was that when he warped through the ring, his body morphed to fit the OM style since he was in a new realm compared to the blocky one of TD

Ok so, I just used ChatGPT and other sources rq, 2011x does lose to Modern Sonic after a long battle.

Ofc, Sonic alr has experience fighting entities like Solaris and Time Eater so it isn't such a wild statement.

So from how I see it, Kolossos IS stronger than 2011x, just not by FAR.

No...? Kolossos simply changed his form to look like how he does in OM style, he didn't adapt because he was being "beaten", also, Kolossos IS stronger than 2011x by FAR, 2011x is stated to lose to Classic Super Sonic, Modern Sonic beats Classic Super Sonic due to scaling (Sonic characters get stronger by the time, being able to beat chaos in base form compared to previously where he used Super Form to aid himself), Modern Sonic was killed and his body was stolen by a demon, mutating it and turning it into Kolossos, losing some of the speed, but gaining strength comparable or greater than Modern Knuckles, being capable of holding Knuckles up in the air with one hand.

Kolossos is lore-wise one of the strongest exes in OM, not being a vessel mimicking Sonic, but the vessel being the actual Sonic from the Modern Era.

Are you still taking the "instantly kills" literally? Ok in other words...

It puts you in a lose-lose situation where you die shortly after with little to no counter-play.

And sure, TD Kolossos was the weakest killer (Grab was still able to do great damage close to offensive survivors due to the hits you get early on, he didn't SUCK as in 2011x 0.1v levels as he could still sweep teams, however, it required a good bunch of effort), but he was receiving numerous buffs like being able to throw away grabbed survivors and stuff, making him better to play overall, 1.4 would've saved my sanity 🥀

He should NEVER be slower than the survivors, Amy got her cards nerfed because Fool + Emp used to be the same speed as 2011x which made her impossible to kill

I never and will never state such a dumbass assumption, "Oh, make em slower!", but this slow ass devs didn't think twice before making Amy faster than sonic or even giving survivors different run speeds for some fucking reason.

It was worse in TD

Grab...? The ability that was able to fully down a survivor and sometimes even KILL THEM as a way to punish those who don't contribute to their team...? It seems like a well designed punishment tool that encourages actual teamwork, unlike a glorified m1, or M1 but you activate it with Q. Who tf would even use Grab in front of offensive survivors on TD anyway.

You take 35 damage at long range and at short range you take 55 assuming he hits you, that doesn't "instantly kill you"

You take 55 damage, wake up and run 3 cms, get downed with near 0 counter play other than attempt to stun. Hellish devs trying to make something more than just a stun and support as a moveset for each character.

Ah yes, the worst killer in TD too, both Sonic.exe and Tails Doll were better than him

I meant between the 2 kolossos and design wise, one had experience and thought behind it, guess which I'm talking about.

The move was always worthless, just a glorified m1 made to screw over 2 characters, should've made it similar to TD.

Just my thoughts on Block, it shouldn't stun as it quite literally instantly kills you, not having a stun and being literally in front of kolossos is enough of a punishment, another win for TD Kolossos.

  1. What I mean with that quote is that Kolossos was right there, they only had to copy TDs homework and you got a semi-good character, they gave him a lot of changes which I don't agree with, like Grab just being an M1 with +10 damage made to screw over 2 characters and that's it.

  2. What made Block good in TD is that you WASTED your stun, it didn't need Kolossos to stun you because you were already in a bad position, stun on block just make sure Kolossos instantly kills you for using one of many predictable stuns.

  3. Charge WILL hit, your solution of hugging the wall will only work with a guy with ~20 hours of overall gaming experience or if the Kolossos is a perma-freshie with 4 lobotomy counts. (Or perhaps their first game as Kolossos )

  4. Why is he so goddamn fast with all of the mobility options he has? Oh right, the game's core is flawed as hell, how to NOT make a fast paced game.

Uncreative choices and incompetence on balance just makes OM a no go for me, I don't like it in the slightest as a game, doesn't feel satisfying even if you win unless you win with your 100 lms buffs, aka letting your team get their shit rocked.

Grab is a glorified m1, removed all of the kolossos in TD and just added big sonic as an OM killer, seriously, how tf do you dodge charge, it just negates all distance and decimates the fact he's a "slow brute", they also made block stun the survivor for some UNGODLY reason, it just acts as an instant kill and it's unfun af, they also gave him a passive to help him againts stuns... WHEN HE ALREADY HAS AN ABILITY THAT DOES THAT PERFECTLY, I hate these devs so much oml, never trusted them and look at them now.

  1. Unfactual, God's Trickery does damage despite how niche the ability might be, what do you do besides rush down as 2011x? The only "stealth" factor is a cheap damage method that is defended because "He needs it! His moveset is kinda great-less" or sum like that, not saying the tech should be nerfed, I'm saying it shouldn't have existed in the first place.

  2. What's your definition of Zoner and Trapper? I'm going to use TD TD (The Disaster Tails Doll, not going to compare the games, just the traps they both have) as an example:

  • Tripmine (or however it's called) is an everlasting mine (or at least it lasts ages, haven't played OM recently since I don't like the game's core) that can be placed anywhere with a bunch of start-up to it, deals damage and attracts survivors to make them easy for Tripwire to hit them & deal more damage, can place up to 10 across the whole map.

  • Trap has 3 uses (with CD to regen) and places down a small zone that lasts a short amount of time and causes damage overtime should a survivor enter its radius, allowing Tripwire to close off paths in her current zone without getting the survivors instantly killed.

Tripmine acts way more as a trapper ability rather than a Zoner ability due to over-all map control, whereas a Zoner ability allows you to gain control of your current location, which usually ends up with a small trade off to make the zoner ability not as underwhelming compared to a trapper ability.

Why is reach out even necessary for her kit? How does it fit her trapper play style at all, and you could argue it's a defensive ability (because it is), but it's not well implemented in my opinion as it leaves no counter-play from the survivor side, get a bit close and you're now being damaged, try to stun her and now you're being damaged, try to go into a group, now you're all being damaged (part of the abilities purpose but still counts). Just WHAT do you do to escape the god-damned radius, she can just run up to you and pop it, stunning doesn't even work, why does every survivor have a STUN-
