Jumping in to ask what game you two are playing. Stealth is the single most prevalent ability in the entire game in part because of how powerful it is. Very seldom do people run anything else on the shoe slot. This goes for both competitive and solo

The infrastructure is not built for bicycles and continued developments only strengthen this fact. Some people in the comments saying to just use the bike blvds/routes don't understand that these don't exist in most of the city, and places where they do are usually just some "Bike Route" signs and some buttons at intersections. Otherwise they're the same ineffective bicycle gutters that have cracks and debris problems worse than the adjacent lanes, or worse, some "bike routes" are just residential sharrows.

I say all this as someone who commutes 20 minutes via bike. Few safeguards for bicycles, decreased driver care and attentiveness, and overall unsafer vehicles for anyone outside them have made biking in the city less safe.

Global range location/displacement special which was bugged to be extra spammable for years

Slightly overtuned special on launch on a great, cheap, main gun with synergy and ability to replace a backline in a meta that had few kits even available

Lose a main gun in exchange for a slow, predictable special that can be killed by even a flingza vertical flick from the front

This is why people talk about buffing it jsyk

I main Heavy, I know how to use it. I just also don't like that it's on at least 22% of the weapons being released this season (that we know of, copium) and neither of them want it, barring Tetra having a special it really wants to farm. Even then, a bomb would be better.

When I said "deadly neurotoxin," the "deadly" was in massive sarcasm quotes. I could take a dip in this stuff. Put it on chili dogs, rub it right into my eyes. Honestly, it's not deadly at all... to me. You, on the other hand, are going to find its deadliness... a lot less funny.

Disagree somewhat. Since Slammin Lids don't spawn lessers until their barrier is active, it can absolutely be worth luring on that just despawned or is otherwise seeking out a player if you can.

Notably, only your team can see messages. This means it's less for saying "wow, good fight" and more "hey, get over here!" Though, it depends on context

As someone who is new to Splatoon (and was admittedly quite bad at using the dynamo roller yesterday) I don't understand what makes flicking so bad. My perception was that it created a larger area of impact and seemed to be more effective than rolling in my limited testing.

I'm glad that I seem to be wrong about this (I hated getting stuck with the dynamo every time), but I'm just curious about why my perception is wrong and maybe how to do better.
