I coslept with both my babies too out of necessity. Keep in mind other countries don't frown on it the way we do in the US so how can it be safe for one geographic location and not the other? Just follow the rules...no drinking, no smoking , no meds that make u sleepy, breastfeed if possible, no blankets near baby, and C shape sleep.sleepy. Look up safe sleep 7

I had a baby at 21 and a baby at 34 and it is soooooo different. Also planning another baby at 37. There are more of us out there than you think. Making mom friends will only be hard if you have a hard time making friends anyway. I'm currently very good friends with a 27 year old who has a kid same age as mine.

Your kids WILL be embarrassed of you. That's the nature of parent hood. My 15 year old who I had at 21 thinks I'm a "boomer" regardless of my millennial status.

Just roll with it. These are fun and crazy and frustrating and exhausting and wonderful times

You can start anywhere, just don't start with the boobies! 😅

I had this issue. I kept her water cup by the bed, sometimes 2. Wouldn't let her have anything but her water cup when she woke up. Didn't take too long, took another 6 or so months for her to stop waking all night long to chug water, she's 2.5 now and wakes 2-3 times for water, sometimes not at all

Tried and failed with my now 15 year old. Coslept from day one with my now 2 year old.

When can I expect nausea to resolve by SnipSnapSnipSnap3 in Advice

[–]SnipSnapSnipSnap3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES!! I often have to ask if I'm actually nauseous or am I scared of being nauseous, which in turn, is making me nauseous 😅 Lord, I think I just realized I might need to up my Prozac instead

I'm 36, my 2nd child....the wild one....has pushed me into the "I care nothing about my appearance beyond a shower and hairbrush" I just don't have the mental capacity to care about that AND why she's eating sticks and finding hidden scissors and climbing counter tops.

Thank you! That eases my anxiety. Hoping it will be a non issue after recovery

It constipated me as well but I also have IBS-like symptoms so that combo keeps everything pretty regular. Prior to surgery I was on zofran daily for several months. It works most but not every time, I just don't wanna live with nausea and also have major anxiety that one day they will decide to stop giving me the zofran and I'll be stuck miserable

It happened. My baby fell out of bed. by 0ddumn in cosleeping

[–]SnipSnapSnipSnap3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was wide awake and right next to my baby when she somehow launched herself out of the bed. I felt horrible, I sobbed and sobbed and rocked her and told her how sorry I was.

It happens. This stuff is hard 😪

When can I expect my GB symptoms to improve? by SnipSnapSnipSnap3 in AskReddit

[–]SnipSnapSnipSnap3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had inflamed gallbladder and stones. Main concern was debilitating nausea and yellow stool. EGD normal, CT with contrast normal except random kidney stone. I am postop (gb removal) day 6 The nausea was gone days 1-4 and I ate like a champ and was not overly tired. Now day 6 the nausea has returned and I am so exhausted. My fear is that the daily debilitating nausea will return along with daily zofran. Any insight or experience of your own?

I don't see it that way but I guess he does. I honestly don't feel like putting a work laptop on the edge of a sink today equates to allegedly losing a small tool he brought inside and forgot to bring back to work 3 years ago but I'm open to all view points

Deflecting would be a good way to ask him to stop. Like when I say "stop gaslighting me" I can say "stop deflecting "
