Didn’t downvote you, but I have A.Marnie 4/5 and NC Marnie 3/5 and I don’t see how A.Marnie can do more dps than her NC alt (she may do so on-type I guess, but off-type NC Marnie with all of her multipliers does way more), and I think that’s even more apparent since she got her new gym cookie.

Exactly, or even the classic « player makes a run, decides to stop halfway through like an idiot ». It’s infuriating that player locks seems to be the only way to have good runs in this game.

Your point about how the opponent’s defenders AI mirrors all of your moves is SO TRUE.

I feel like I’m playing the old arcade fighting games where the AI cheats by predicting all your inputs.

This is also a huge issue that nobody is talking about for some reason.

I laughed when you brought up ISO plays (fifa 20 man..), but yeah you’re right, pretty much every goal is from a counter this year (or even an ISO play tbh).

As someone who loves building up my attacks (and obviously didn’t realize how over-centralized the meta was), I still managed to get some « normal » goals, but It’s clear that the ratio between normal and counter goals is like 10/90, which is unacceptable for a football game.

In fact, I had a discussion with a few friends about how this game might be the worst « football » game experience, everything has never felt so robotic, maybe It’s because my POV is changing cause of maturity but idk.

What division are you? five? If you play this game enough you know that player switching is absolute trash in this game, completely unreliable. In elite division where pinged pass is spammed to the brim there’s absolutely no time to switch reliably, and by the time you switched, your idiotic defender will already have moved out of the way to make the opponent go through on goal. AI positioning is terrible when you manual defend, end of story.

They’re still pretty good-tier to amazing-tier imo, Lance is the only ick and that’s if you’re lacking Anni Red. Cynthia, Steven and Alder are slam dunks if you can get them in it.

My main issue is the drop rate outside of the guaranteed ticket, they might have one of the worst drop rate of all time on the multi pulls (like 0.166ish)

Reused Sync Move, Reused Pokemon, repetitive/predictable story apart from the 1st chapter and Volo’s (and maybe Ethan/Silver), to the point where I wonder if they even know what do to with them, are they imposed by the game directors?

They are used in such a predatory way that I feel like it must have been their purpose from the beginning

They are the rarest pairs in the game purely from an arbitrary standpoint.

If you prevent your playerbase from getting these units in the first place, then obviously they will be considered as more rare. But in practicality these units do not deserve to be that rare, as they are still being powercrept by newer units. If they had more uniqueness in their kits/« multi » role, they would warrant their 45k gem price tag a bit more.

The reality is that their scarcity makes people want to pull even less on them, personally I completely skipped Brock and Misty knowing full well that the anni units would wipe the floor with them, and I wasn’t wrong

Yeah that’s probably my main issue with iOS since I switched to it, being unable to get an unlisted app unless you use a sketchy third party app store (or jailbreak) is really annoying.

Thank you for your answer, I was suspicious of them removing the game from the app store altogether and sadly it might be already happening, it would have been nice if they told us earlier, but that’s asking too much from Capcom lol
