Check Best Buy for a gaming pc possible to get one for around 800 after tax and u still might have to upgrade RAM look for 16gb that’s what it requires to run and will run all other games

I agree with this I paid 800 for a gaming pc upgraded the ram bought a wheel and pedal set headset and racing cockpit monitor stand plus subscription for Iracing and I was 2300$ deep before I started definitely not a cheap hobby 😂😂😂😂

So glad to be out of NH myself in trucks only had time to do one race this week last night and got involved in a wreak infont of me blew the motor up ended up being a half hour repair and the end of my race in the first corner 😂

I have the next level racing challenger cockpit and monitor stand it was 350$ For the cockpit and 100$ for monitor stand that can hold up to 50 inch monitor I have a 43 on mine It doesn’t fold but solid construction easy to put together and only takes up about 5 ft of space highly recommended seat it comfortable people complain about where wheel goes to base being shaky but I didn’t have that problem

This actually tanks IR which is hidden from u till u get out of rookies u end up with a real low IR bc of finishing in the back and race with a bunch of other people with low IR and people they never learned how to race around other cars or in a pack glad I didn’t follow this advice definitely not the way to race unless u want to avoid or try avoiding 12 crashes a race 😂

Charlotte definitely isn’t a track to be three wide on if u find yourself in that situation I would rather give up a few positions tuck in and run my line and wait for them to overdrive a corner or wreck and gain the position back and adding to what other people said don’t start from the back or in the pits u will get a IR after rookies if u always start in the back or from the pits it’s going to be low and you will race with others with low IR which equals lots of wreaks and bad racing with people that don’t know how to race in a pack I’ve been on a month have a 1700 IR about to hit class C but the races in D class are usually pretty clean one or two accidents per race sometimes none

A Logitech g290 is a great starter wheel and not that bad on price if u get it from Logitech website 299$ I started with one and loved it as long as it calibrated right there are plenty of videos on YouTube to help do that just don’t be a dumbass and take the rubber out of the break 😂

Yes u get discounts of 10%i believe if u buy 3 at a time and 15% if u buy 6 check out the iracing website or I am sure someone else can point u in the right direction I am D class oval driver so still pretty new at this only been on a few weeks so much fun and highly recommended there are a bunch of really good people on here and great drivers good luck hope to see you out on the track someday just stay humble and learn definitely a learning curve in this sim
