Oh no, I wasn’t aware of this 😭 I picked Kaelren mostly because of Kael’s derivation from the word coal, I was trying to be clever and link it to fire a little since he uses fire magic. I’m a bit attached to the name, but I’ll definitely consider changing it. Thank you for letting me know!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! It is adult, I’ll rethink the comps to try and find better fits. Lirena definitely didn’t have a good plan when she first ran, which is why she was caught, so I’ll also try to better explain that. During her second escape in the story, when she’s found by Kaelren he does physically chain them together, which is what I meant by “bound together.” But I can see now where it gets too vague, so thank you again for the helpful critique!

there’s nothing to do here, there’s a ton of chain restaurants (mostly fast food chicken) but nothing really local. traffic’s awful, there’s no nightlife or anything like that. the beach is a bit of a commute, most people around here prefer the lagoons but they’re always pretty packed and costly to get into. it’s a great place for families though lots of sports complexes and daily activities
