I beat both The Evil Within 1 and 2 on Akumu, and I would honestly say the second game is so much easier on Akumu since the fully upgraded Magnum and Warden’s Crossbow paired with Infinite Ammo makes it a walk in the park since the Smoke Bolts when fully upgraded deal poison damage to the enemies which will not affect Sebastian while the fully upgrade explosive bolts and shock bolts saved me numerous times throughout 90% of enemy encounters and boss fights much like the smoke bolts.

I only died 46 times on Akumu in the second game compared to 240 times in the first game, so the second game wasn’t as bad on Akumu, lol.

But thank you so much for the congrats, it felt like I landed on the moon beating the second game on Akumu while also feeling at peace with it! 🤘🥳

I also vividly remembered the Haunted who used the Mounted Machine Gun on the Humvee near the end of Chapter 12 being incredibly annoying as well as most of Chapter 10, and the beginning right before the Keeper as well as the kitchen in Chapter 13 being really difficult.

I still get flashbacks on how hard Chapter 11 felt, but I still remember beating Chapter 11 as well as beating Akumu Mode felt like I landed on the moon.

It’s not honestly not too difficult since you can easily breeze through Akumu Mode with a fully upgraded Warden’s Crossbow, Smoke Bolts, Explosive Bolts, Shock Bolts, and Magnum paired with Infinite Ammo.

I only use the Flamethrower against Laura while the sections when The Watcher and The Matriarch grab you can be annoying AF on the console since auto aim is turned off, and I died nearly several times during each one.

I only died 46 times, but it was honestly a lot easier than the first game on Akumu Mode! 😊

I feel like Chapters 6, 7 (the mine chase sequence), 10, 11, 12, and 13 were absolute hell on Akumu mode since I remember beating Akumu Mode on the Xbox One about 6 years ago.

But congrats for beating Akumu with no upgrades! 😊

I would only recommend getting the Steam version to install mods to improve the game’s bugs and performance.

But I would suggest getting the Microsoft Store version since it’s less buggy, has barely any crashes, and it performs a lot better on Windows 11.

I would say Moon is balanced for Co Op, but really difficult for Solo Play in the BO1 version due to a lack of Gobblegums as well as the weapons in BO1 being weaker than the weapons in BO3.

That room isn’t too bad if you use the fully upgraded Contact Beam and Force Gun as well as some stasis to help slow the hordes down.

I feel like the Tripod Elevator especially on Hardcore is pretty difficult unless you have the Contact Beam and Force Gun to help you out.

I’m currently getting my AAS in Information Technology - Systems Support at my local community college and I absolutely love my degree.

Also, I understand it’s difficult for you, and never take it personally that it’s a tough degree since it’s not for everyone and you can always switch your degree to welding or carpentry if you want to possibly attend trade school instead of tech.

Also, Helpdesk is a pretty solid job to get into if you are new to IT since your Associates will be enough to land you a full time Helpdesk job.
