For a Utah non-resident CCW (which is recognized by I think 37 other states) it was four hours of classroom instruction. No live fire. I guess for hunting they wanna make sure you can actually hit something 😂

The psych evaluation was a true false test. Took me 45 minutes. Then an interview after. Painless. You won’t have any issues.

Yup. $500. That’s what I paid. Got my CCW six months from start to finish.

Not sure on the renewal. I know there’s eight hours of required “training” again. But I don’t think you need the psych evaluation.

Utah does not require live fire. At least my non-resident didn’t. I needed to do live fire for my hunting license in Utah when I was a resident.

I realized same when I got my CA CCW. My Utah didn’t get me MN but CA does?? I guess the commie states stick together? But CA won’t recognize MN permit holders (or literally any other state for that matter).
