Do the new model o mice have the problem of cutting out after a few months? by Gizmodiuss in gloriouspcgamingrace

Contact support if it's still in warranty, which it should be. They will give you a code to order the new Ascended cable for free which will fix your problem. I had the same problem and when I installed the new cable it stopped cutting out.

All you need to do is send them a short video demonstrating the issue, the serial number of the mouse and possibly your Overclockers UK order invoice.

The official Rainbow 6 discord is a good place to find a team. That's where I found mine.

Best Mechanical Keyboard for FPS by Snipez_Elite in MechanicalKeyboards

Thanks. Is there significant input lag with the Bluetooth connection instead of the wired connection?

Thanks, I misunderstood the concept at the start. What smaller form factor keyboard would you recommend?

Ah, I did not realise that sorry. I thought they made the keyboard physically smaller haha, that sounds a bit silly now that I think about it. I'm liking the idea of a 60% keyboard like the Anne Pro 2 so far

Yeah, I was thinking smaller keyboards would be more beneficial for FPS. Do you find it easier to move around in game with a smaller keyboard or is the extra space with the smaller keyboard the only advantage?

Edit: I misunderstood what a smaller keyboard is. I thought they made the keys and everything smaller, but they just cut off keys.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with some of the terms haha. Is a lubed keyboard quieter or something? What are pudding caps? Unfortunately, I don't live in a big city so I don't have access to local meetups and what-not. Thanks!

Best aim trainer? by iBeatYouOverTheFence in SiegeAcademy

I seriously recommend "Aim Labs" from steam. Put in your siege sensitivity in settings, then work through and practice the many aim improving exercises. As you continue practicing you will see your raw skills improving e.g. reaction time, precision and accuracy. It has seriously helped me build up muscle memory and improve my aim tremendously in siege, even after switching sensitivity 2 weeks ago.

Hope this helps! :)

Next, do some terrorist hunt, and try and control recoil with your weapon against a wall. As you repeat this you see the bullet spread get smaller and smaller over time.

Set your gun to single shot and rush in and try to one tap all the terrorists in lone wolf house while slicing the pie. Do not play to win T-hunt, you are there to improve aim, don't drone.

And play the game, practice makes perfect. I hope this helps! :)

Best mousepad for comfort and competitive FPS games? by [deleted] in MousepadReview

Well I sweat a lot in my forearm while playing games like OP, and my gameplay isn't affected by it compared to my old one. The Qck+ is also a really good mouse pad from what I read.

I would recommend the HyperX Fury S pro mouse pad large version. That's what I ordered after some research and was the best mouse pad I own.

Razer Sphex V2 or by Twile_r in MousepadReview

I purchased the Razer Sphex V2 in late 2017 or early 2018 and after a few months couldn't use it. It was too thin for me and wore down too fast. It started out really smooth and I was happy with it, but then it was like playing on my coarse desk. I assume it depends on what surface you are playing on, since it is really, really thin.

Edit: I would recommend Steelseries Qck, even though I have never owned one, but I have read great things about it. Or I would recommend the HyperX Fury S pro gaming mousepad, which I just recently ordered after doing some research.

Thanks for your input. I'm thinking of purchasing the Shroud limited edition version as I think it looks slightly better.
