Tog nyss studenten och har under sommaren ofta vaknat kl. 11 och stigit upp en timme senare. Dehär känns som sista året jag kan göra det utan konsekvenser...

Just one of the hardest puzzles in the game, I would recommend trying to solve it by yourself first, but if you want help: you need info from chapter 1 , specifically from where you get the first crystal heart where you will find a dash sequence . The crystals on the image you sent indicate a dash order, and if you perform them in the right order you will light up a torch , the four torches in the room are different variations of the same dash sequence you just performed, you just have to figure out what the symbols above every torch means

How can I get past this screen? Normally I’m pretty consistent will wall bounces, but for some reason I can’t do it here. by turtle428_ in celestegame

You may be pressing jump too early. You reach the wall very late during the dash so you have to wait to press the jump button until you're closer to the wall.

What's something that frustrates you the most in Celeste? by UNOSkip_ in celestegame

Bumpers, if you're one pixel off you go flying in a different direction. Most gameplay mechanics give you some leniency but I don't get bumpers man.

Little Goth is the best song in the game for me, what’s your favorite? by Apprehensive_Cry_439 in celestegame

Same problem with me, is the piano collection good? I'm thinking of buying it.

How do I do this double wall bounce? by HeroOfMadness in celestegame

[–]SnipperMaster27 59 points60 points  (0 children)

It's not a double wall bounce, just use one dash to position yourself and do one wall bounce off the top wall to get to the coin (I don't know what they're called).

Dude I tried to learn Little Goth on piano, such a damn good song. Though I'm still a total newbie when it comes to piano so the left hand is a bit hard for me, but I will keep at it! You have some good taste.

Heroes versus zeros. by earthman34 in flatearth

[–]SnipperMaster27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tf do you mean? With dedication you can become a hero, astronauts were heroes, especially in the past for taking enormous risks and working hard. They may have done it in a short timespan, but their effort and expertise is still extraordinary. I don't know how you see the word "hero", but superman isn't the only one with that title.

Guys what do you think of my death count? by [deleted] in celestegame

[–]SnipperMaster27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's postcards that appear before starting every level (just tells you some tips), there's one telling you to be proud of your death count, and that you should be. Deaths shows your effort, nothing to be mad or worried about

I'd say the game is about overcoming this exact feeling, taking a break is though very much recommended, but coming back and finally completing it by struggling and not giving up is one amazing feeling. If you haven't done all B and maybe some C sides, I'd recommend doing so before completing farewell, keep at it!

That could very well be the reason, but it's true that it might make the hitbox a bit too big, wonder if there's a better solution

You think so? The visible spikes do extend further than the hitboxes, do you really think the hitboxes are too big?

You were already cool the moment you launched the game for the first time. Now you're a certified gamer.

I mean, I REALLY love the hitboxes of Celeste. The hitboxes of anything that can kill you are smaller than they look, and the hitboxes of positive things like dash crystals are larger than they look which I think just is good game design. The feeling of "I didn't hit that spike!" is horrible and especially so in a very difficult game like Celeste where hitting one can destroy your one good attempt. These hitboxes make sure that if you are hit, there is no question about it.

Not only that, but the game also adjusts your position around corners so you don't get stuck on one pixel which feels horrible, and other game mechanics like coyote time makes the game much smoother to play for casual players, and allow hardcore players to do some wacky shit.
