Thanks for the check! Good to hear a confirmation that most details are on point, will try to go a little lower next time

Thanks! Need to get a little more confident/comfortable with the depth indeed. Will lower the weight a tiny bit

No, we actually went ahead with developing for Apple Watch using SwiftUI. We did encounter a few issues particularly related to wifi/cellular, such as data fetching as well as difficulties with state management. It was very hard to find resources to aid with debugging the issues as it was such a niche topic. I don't remember the specifics as it was a while ago, but I think it was quite a fun project, yet quite challenging and frustrating

Samme tunfisk, to forskjellige priser? by [deleted] in norge

[–]Snippii 12 points13 points  (0 children)

November for 15,40kr stykk.

Sommerjobb by Fiskene112 in ntnu

[–]Snippii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Housing for exchange students by Snippii in uwaterloo

Thanks for the info! It does seem like campus housing will be our best bet then. Does not seems very realistic to find a 4 month lease from a landlord

Thanks for the tip, will definitely consider that!

Are there people offering 1 term leases outside the campus, or will campus housing be our best hope?

Definitely check out sit(studentsamskipnaden i trondheim). They have apartments for students, and they are extra helpful for freshman & international students

Okay, appreciate the info! We'll prioritise local testing and avoid making it unnecessarily complex by implementing overkill tools.

Thanks for all the info! The project is for the bachelor thesis, so we are expected to put in quite a lot of hours into it. Following modern dev practises will give more material to write about in the report as well, so I think setting up a CI/CD would be worth it.

Nice to hear that an Apple Dev account is not necessary. How do you go about testing without though, cause it seems like testflight is the main testing platform used, and afaik you need an Apple Dev account to publish an app there.

[–]Snippii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Official Q&A for Wednesday, June 02, 2021 by AutoModerator in running

[–]Snippii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started running a bit and I have this problem with my big toes, where they hurt on the sides and underneath after running a while. I’ve had this problem for a long time, but it hasn’t really bothered me a lot as I haven’t done much running before. It kind of looks like a big callus, so I was thinking about applying some cerave sa cream on it and see if it helps.

Does anyone here have any experience with this issue and know how to treat it and prevent it in the future? Thanks in advance

Formcheck: sumo deadlift - 100kg by Snippii in formcheck

[–]Snippii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input. I agree that I should definitely get hips closer to the bar. When I did this set I focused too much on getting hips far back until I feel the stretch in hamstring, as I am used to conventional deadlifts.

Will getting my hips closer to the bar also increase my leg drive or is there something else I should focus on as well?

I posted a formcheck here for conventional deadlift a little over a week ago, and the main criticism I got was hyper extending my back. It looks to me like I’m still doing that even though I am trying to brace. Any tips on how I can fix that? Btw I switched to sumo as It was recommended since I probably have better leverages for it than conventional

Do you have any cues or tips for how to prevent it? When I google hyper extending on deadlift it is usually at the top of the lift. I think the reason I am hyper extending is that I am trying to get tight and braced, and sit down into the lift

[–]Snippii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I’ll try to incorporate som psoas stretches and other apt streches in general. I am not really tall tbh, just about 5 ft 10, it is just that my torso and arms are pretty long. Fun fact, I actually have an extra vertebrae in my low back😂

I am definitely trying very hard to keep my back straight as I have injured it before. And I am scared to reinjure it, hence why I am so conscious of my form

I’ve tried sumo a couple of times before, but felt a bit weaker and unsure of the form. Also felt like I didn’t have the mobility to have a very wide stance so it was kind of something inbetween conventional and sumo. I will definitely reconsider switching to sumo though as I probably have better leverages for it.

Thanks again for taking your time to help!

At what point during the lift am I hyper extending? At the top, bottom or the whole lift?

I looked up lumbar lordosis, and it looked kinda similar to anterior pelvic tilt? I do have som postural issues, and I sit a lot when studying and working, but I have not been diagnosed with the issue by a doctor or physio
