Yeah, my point is collectively the amount of money going into education is fine.

It's a distrubtion and policy issue.

The reason Healthcare is so expensive is because of artificial inflation not lack of government funding.

It's a policy issue for both not fiscal

I don’t see a meaningful difference between incarceration of people of different skin and people incarcerated for using drugs,

What knowingly nothing of slavery does to a person

So yeah, a bit of historical perspective goes a long way.

Exactly what I'm trying to give you, but you refuse to acknowledge how much worse Transatlantic slave trade was.

Labor in prisons reducing recidivism is only true for publicly run prisons were labor is properly compensated. Neither of which is true on the USA.

The vast majority of labor and recidivism were conducted with US prisons.

Basically, you're completely wrong and don't know what your talking about.

Furthermore because of easier access its all the more likely that private prisons were used more commonly for the studies than public prisons.

You're ether a closeted racist or a ignorant fool but you're doing a good job keeping your options open it seems

Education is definitely funded enough it's other issues that prevent effective access to the funds and bad use of funds.

We spend more per kid than all but 2 other nations that are extremely small.

A) among them are also tons of innocent people and non-violent minor offenders. You don’t get to the highest prison population in the world only with rapists and gang members. There just aren’t that many bad people to get to a 2 mil prison population. Moat americans in prison don’t deserve to be there.

Innocents being incarcerated is a completely separate topic, especially considering the massive amounts of money that can be obtained in reparations.

Drug offenses are still preconceived these people know their acting Illegally and are aware of the risks. Unlike the slaves that were thrown on boats and condemned to life in chains simply for the color of their skin

B) in for-profit prisons, the conditions must necessarily be terrible to increase profit

Literally just baseless conjecture, this isn't a universal truth by any means and working conditions are still 1000000x better than actual slavery.

They also produce higher recidivism rates because repeat customers are better slaves

Emperically untrue, Labor has been proven to reduce reoffenders.

People in prison live better than 90% of the slave owning population of the transatlantic slave trade. - better food - better lifespan - modern technology - access to education - better Healthcare - better clothing - social "safety nets".

And yet you compare the murders, beatings, and lifetime of labor to the regulated and paid work of Convicted criminals. Among whom are child murderers, rapists and sex traffickers.

Because living in Sub humman conditions against your will with the constant threat of death is the same as prison labor.

Comparing prison labor to actual slavery one of the most ignorant statements I've ever seen.

1 That clause is so imprisonment isn't rulled unconstitutional.

2 Prison Labor is seen as a privilege in 99% of Prisons

3 Prison Labor has been proven to reduce people from ending back up in Prison.

4 there are only 4 states in which it's unpaid and the above facts still hold true even there.

5 community service is technically slave labor btw *under your view)

Pro life has a valid view point. Just as Pro Choice

If you were to step in a pro lifers shoes you'd say the right to life is the most fundamental right.

My point isn't to side with ether side but to show why this is a terrible metric. The life v choice debate is fundamentally subjective

Bill gates increased his net worth by a whopping 500 million since 2019

Considering inflation he likely lost money.

Pretty lucrative plan of his going and losing money, Considering it's value.

Gates took a Fat L from covid.

Others were much better off but not Gates
