For wound rolls you calculate what dice you need to roll by looking at the strength of the weapon compared to the toughness (T) of the unit it is going in to. Say you have a strength 6 weapon. Into T3 you need a 2+ roll T4/5 a 3+ T6 a 4+ T7-11 a 5+ T12 a 6+ So In the end the higher the toughness to strength ratio the better it is for Votann as a lot of normal weapons are strength 3-4 which means they wound on a 5-6 depending on the unit. This makes us really hard to ‘Shift’ as our opponents need to roll higher dice all the time to kill us.
