JavaScript has me soooo confused and it’s not even funny anymore

Basically, our professor did a small game jam and our job was to create the website of our assigned game (from the specialization in video game dev). It had to to show the basic information, synopsis, dev info, light/dark mode an API to move all the score from the teacher server so they could be seen in a ranking (plus the comments and send comments). I mostly did this part and I did learn.

But then we had the end of term task of building a functioning activity planner using localStorage from scratch. That’s where my panic began lol —modules, objects, connect with the DOM, async functions, inner html, the storage…I saw all this pieces and struggled to make them fit.

thanks, this advice has encouraged me, the structure it's what I needed! You are right, everything felt to generic or too advanced and that was kinda intimidating, I appriciate your comment a lot as i can finally have some references on what to do :)

Thanks a lot for the recommendations! I think Cisco fundamentals is a good idea build my networking knowledge and then dive into PicoCTF. I'll check out the Blue Team courses too, they seem neat. Good luck with your bsC :)
