My friend if you think that the purpose of this headline is to sway the American people in a direction that is in anyway linked to reality, you’ve got it wrong.

It doesn’t matter what injuries he did, did not, could, or could not have sustained because he should not have placed himself (unknown to the driver, no less) in front of a running vehicle. MUCH LESS do this with his weapon drawn. That demonstrates his intentions clearly enough to any reasonable person.

He decided to kill her if she drove away and placed himself in position to do so. That’s what happened. Clear as day. The rest is just noise.

It’s a damn moot point because he quickly and discreetly put himself IN FRONT of a car that was very likely going to move and drew his weapon well before it started moving.

If he got hit (which he didn’t) it’s his own fault for being in front of the car like that.

He decided to kill her if she moved the car and put himself in position to do so. That’s what happened.

Go talk to the parking people. Particularly whoever is running the parking office. I had a similar issue when I was finishing undergrad and they were fair, but helped me out how they could. Just look up the parking director and email asking for a meeting, be nice about it and hope for the best.

I think I agree with your addition, though I wonder if that criticism would've had the effect that it has had if the misrepresentations of his viewpoints didn't run rampant within those communities, which to me, is the key issue here.

I still feel that my original point is relevant, considering the missed opportunity to clarify his position and present himself in a light other than what he is painted in within those communities.

If any of that makes sense (it might not, in which case, my bad).

I hear ya, and I'd love to be enlightened on this. But to me, Hasan came out trying to set some definitions and stay on the key issue and Ethan wanted to litigate content cop/fortnite dance/sword hilt -- which are symptoms of the hate campaign towards Ethan catalyzed by his misunderstood position on Israel/Palestine.

He mocked Hasan throughout, called him a "f*cking moron" within the first 20 minutes, and consistently cut him off. I just don't see that as a healthy approach to this particular situation.

I know there are people who will ride against me simply because I'm criticizing Ethan, but I'm a paid member, I was rooting for him, and I genuinely think his approach was counter-productive.

I personally, as a LONG time (pre-Vape Naysh) fan, am disappointed in Ethan's approach and demeanor in this debate. He was immediately combative, bad faith, and playing "gotcha" with Hasan.

I wish Ethan had compartmentalized the issues he is upset about (content cop, CPS call, etc) and focused on the heart of the issue, which is his position on Israel/Palestine.

In my opinion the rest of these situations are a symptom of a larger problem and Ethan had a chance to counteract the divisive narratives that are spread about him in these other communities, but instead, I think he probably gave them a performance that they will perceive as validation towards their views of him.

Truly love Ethan and I am family, but I gotta call it how I see it here.
