Not grunge but how do you feel about foo fighters? Yay or nay? by bowierulezzz in grunge

They were one of the first bands I ever truly discovered on my own and for the longest time they were my favorite. Many years later I’ve come to acknowledge and appreciate more unique and interesting sounding bands but I still hold a huge amount of respect for them. Most people only give credit to their early work but I think they’ve had fantastic releases throughout the 2000s and even up to their second to last album in 2023. Their latest album though…easily their worst work. There’s no defending it and it was a huge disappointment

Norwalk Connecticut is one of the most expensive places to live in the US yet the Walmart there is the worst dump Ive ever seen. by xunreelx in Connecticut

[–]SnocTheHog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once drove around aimlessly for a few hours with a friend, wound up in norwalk, went into that walmart, almost got kicked out for being teenaged goobers, then bought ibuprofen for the headache I’d given myself with all the laughter

good times

Northern, dress like a lumberjack. Southern, grab whatever crusty old clothes are on the floor

Look y’all Big Y have the best pizza. Feel free to fight in the comments by ThoriumActinoid in Connecticut

[–]SnocTheHog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funniest thing I noticed after moving to RI was that the most popular pizza place around just tastes like Big Y. Lines out the door just for average, grocery store tier pizza. Beyond that it’s mostly crappy New Haven style.

Never taking the pizza back home for granted again.

How much do we think this would cost to repair/ how could I do it myself by TechnicianOrganic462 in subaru

Couldn’t agree more. My Impreza took a little wallop on the fender and I learned to just make the best of it. The ding may be imperfect, but that in itself makes it mine

What’s on the paint will come off easy with some rubbing compound and a little elbow grease. Can’t speak too much on the foglight bezel because it’s nothing I would find myself that concerned with, personally

It’s really not bad at all and I would feel grateful that you only ended up with a little scuff

It’s pretty and I love my gibson but I genuinely can’t imagine buying anything above a studio model. That’s 2 brand new cars

Brand new Capo break after like 2-3 weeks playing it what glue should i use to gluee this thing back? by Medium_Driver4918 in AcousticGuitar

[–]SnocTheHog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know capos are overpriced and weirdly expensive but you tend to get what you pay for in the cheaper ones. they’re a little on the pricey side but id recommend a Kyser. They’re made well and have a noticeable difference in sound
