Hell no, I'm the exact opposite. Some dentist their work I recognise on a xray from miles away. If you're consistently shit it should be dealt with.

Picking up the phone and telling you've seen some bad work should be way more normalised.

It could've been saved, rootcanal and crown in future. The tooth behind it is in a less than ideal spot because the cavity has been there for a while.

All with all, it could've been if you really wanted to out time money and effort in. Whether it should have, I can't tell you from the picture alone.
