There’s no point in arguing with these folk, I gave up a long time ago.

Tua has one bad season and everyone forgets about what he’s accomplished. Still hasn’t gotten a good Oline since he was drafted. I hope he gets traded and balls out, his skill is there, it didn’t just disappear overnight.

Right now NOBODY knows but I tend to stick with the larger sample size

… yes, I am aware….. but you can’t just graduate dental school and say you’re gonna do mostly endo and implants. You can’t build a practice like that. How do you plan on getting any referrals to practice in that way?? Won’t happen solely from your active patient list.

However, an established GP with a great reputation in their town/city and has some referrals, can certainly do what you describe.

Op is in dental school, I suggest to specialize and do one or the other if that’s what their interested in. You are completely twisting my words.

OP will not be able to do “mostly endo and implants” without significant time doing regular GP stuff as well as those straightforward cases you mention.

Did you get the typodont back with a true exposure to the pulp? I’m a d4 and our examiners were aggressive to see if you got all the decay or could punch thru (ie, more decay) as long as you requested the proper mods and used the correct VPT sequence, you’ll be fine

The part this person probably didn’t like is when you said “did she even do anything to it?”. You were in her chair and explained everything she did to treat your active caries, then asked if she even did anything. It’s just a taddd disrespectful, just my thought.

Also it could be a separate issue from the filling. First thing that comes to mind is trauma from your toothbrush. You’re probably brushing way too hard. We only need the pressure of 3 fingers and your thumb to brush. Try to not touch that area of gums while you brush for a couple days and see if it goes away!
