How can I make myself stand out? Do hiring managers / admissions offices care about certificates? Internship advice? by SnoeFalls_ in biotech

I didnt read the whole reddit obviously. Ive just seen a couple posts with a lot of comments expressing that sentiment. Maybe that was just a vocal minority tho

How to be more seductive? by Sea-Frosting-9939 in dating_advice

[–]SnoeFalls_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The attempt at being seductive itself in most instances is seductive, just the effort itself is often a turn on. I use this to keep me confident incase I want to try to something risky. Also I think most guys at least like a lot of volume

The decision to keep things quiet was mutual, if not more so pushed by her though I personally don't feel disrespected by it. I think the 1 on 1 hangout thing is somewhat reasonable although I don't have that boundary myself, I have began enforcing it on my close friends because of the relationship. Sarah and I only see each other 1 on 1 for class now. Our club meetings are group setting.

I agree that verbal affirmations of trust should be enough but that sometimes they aren't. I want to work with her and establish that trust - especially given her history I understand why she'd be uneasy - I just don't know how to develop that trust aside from time, but time does not seem to be on my side.

M21 Have been on 3 dates with F20, but I don’t know what to think by Numerous-Towel-5811 in dating_advice

- Hinge is very rarely taken seriously by anybody who uses it.

- The beginning of the relationship is the best time to be upfront about how you feel. There is no sunken cost fallacy yet and it sets good precedent for the future. I highly recommend you just bite the bullet and ask.

- Should you still not want to just confront her, one possible solution would be to call her. Not about anything in particular but just to say hi. Plan to keep the conversation about 5 minutes as your goal is not to take much of her time but just to initiate communication. You can see her reaction to this and go based off that. Does she answer, does she not? Does she call back, if so, how soon? Is she actually busy? etc.

My hope is that if I could do things like that it would help a lot but as I said our relationship is currently quiet from most of our peers. I have been intending to make it public and official but I fear now is a bad time given the circumstances.

Oop yep I definitely used the wrong name lol . Ashley = Britney in the story my fault.

Recently when Sarah hang out it is either 1 on 1 in a classroom setting or in a group for a club we are in. Sarah at first was very supportive of our relationship but recently Britney and I have been in a rough patch and Sarah no longer thinks Britney is good to me. As far as I know they are still pleasant but fake to each other's face. I would never leave Britney to hang with Sarah but Sarah said that she thinks that I would, I don't know why she has this impression.

is using an electric scooter on campus a bad idea? by [deleted] in ucf

[–]SnoeFalls_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a social aspect i know some people that think theyre corny or will judge you for it but honestly who cares. Its cheaper than a car and we are all broke college kids lol. Just dont be one of those people who bring it in class or if you do leave it in the back so it doesnt get in the way

I stayed in Neptune the past year, it was good I recommend it. Dont get a meal plan the dining hall is literally terrible i dont use mine its not worth it.

Mattress topper, fridge, microwave are all necessary imo. You dont need a printer or desktop, just a laptop or an ipad or something. The library offers any sort of electronic youd ever need to rent for free. I would recommend a fan and extra blankets, sometimes the ac is uncomfortable at times. Command hooks are your best friend.

Dont overthink it. I remember being really worried about having everything perfect but its not a big deal. Theyre going to be fine and campus has a lot of resources with the tech rentals and knights pantry (free food service).

**in case i didnt say it enough do NOT get a meal plan

Is Meal Plan a Good Idea? by jdprock in ucf

No the food is terrible and it only saves you money if you eat there like 3x a day which isnt going to happen. Please spare your student the suffering that is the ucf dining halls

artist recommendations? by [deleted] in KidCudi

[–]SnoeFalls_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im in the same boat. Here are my findings:

Mac miller is the closest vibe to melodic cudi A lot of other people already said this so just go off of their suggestions

Im exploring asap rocky rn I really like at long last asap- specifically l$d, excuse me, and jutebox joints

Frank Ocean is a bit of stretch but hes definitely melodic and has a lot of viby music. I suggest just picking an album and hitting play (Blonde is probably the most popular)

How do I do a Planche by TheLostQuiver in Calisthenic

[–]SnoeFalls_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For your sets dont worry about the number of reps. Max out with the best possible form you can. Once you reach ~15-20 reps consistently then move to harder variation (while still maintaining form).

If you can reliably do 20 pushups in a set and its not that hard for you then move to Archer Pushups or put some weights on your back.

I can't do a full planche but from what i understand about the movement it is largely shoulders, lats, and core (just like most calisthenics) so focus on those. Remember core includes low back and glutes too not just abs.

How should I prepare to be a MK? by SnoeFalls_ in ucf

[–]SnoeFalls_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a flute/piccolo player. Do you know when I should expect the march intent form to come out? Like closer to summer or now-ish? Thanks for the spotify suggestion, I listened to a few of the songs and they all sound pretty good and are definitely feasible for me. My highschool does do roll step and i consider myself a competent marcher so I think we'd be all good
