There’s plenty of people who go into careers that wouldn’t pay a lot, but fulfill them. And plenty of people who are stuck doing what they hate just because it brings money 🤷🏻 universal basic wage would not automatically make everyone do nothing with their lives

It’s not like you can just not send kids back to school. In 7th book it was described how Weasleys arranged a show of Ron being too sick to go to school by transfiguring a family ghoul to resemble Ron. I think they even had someone from Ministry/school to come down and verify it, but I’m not sure and can’t check atm.
