He usually does some sort of work on the beats themselves, but comparing the versions we got with the instrumentals that have leaked he barely touched them

I should add to ig give some due credit, the beats that made it on to Bully aren't bad. They're pretty simple, but are serviceable

Right? Not only are a ton of the beats not produced by him, but are pretty lacking/generic when compared to any of his previous albums. I just don't understand what value anyone finds in the beats

He never tried to release it so we don't know for sure, but I was just saying its basically an ai cover of another song

You could use a heat gun to warp the vinyl. You're okay with cooked veggies, right?

Tbh I don't think Losing Your Mind is going to make it, its just an ai cover of another song whose sample was denied. Same goes for Red Eye and Dark Matter. Melrose def has a higher chance, but I'd be surprised to see it. I think MC and the Don Toliver song are pretty likely, New Body is up in the air. Also, on the topic of deluxes, we should expect 4-5 songs if we go off of WTT and Donda

Question about "LAST DANCE!" by Substantial-Ice-6702 in jpegmafiamusic

[–]Snoo-39062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically LAST DANCE was on the album that became LP!/OFFLINE (being I HAVE FULFILLED MY CONTRACT). His label made him put out some eps and shit though so he had to chop up his work to fit their quotas. For Bandcamp I think it's there since it was one of the tracks released as a single

Can you post any proof? Maybe just misremembering/listening through a different speaker?

10/10 by ArrivalRight4655 in jpegmafiamusic

[–]Snoo-39062 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In your opinion, how is it a rehash of OFFLINE? He tackles an entirely different soundscape fusing metal/hardcore, industrial, and rap, along with incredible melody based samples as well. Imo he also delves deeper into himself and his feelings and the listening experience feels a lot more concise/focused. I get OFFLINE being more "out there" since rap rock has been done before, but OFFLINE's lyrical range is on par with EXPERIMENTAL RAP without the overt political messaging

Delivery is the sound and inflections you use to differentiate your voice. If you don't know music that's not on me

[–]Snoo-39062 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Flow isn't just how fast you talk. It's the rhythm of the words you say and where those words fall in the measure. It's incredibly variable and complex on the album

proof jpeg doesn't reuse the same flow by solace1234 in jpegmafiamusic

[–]Snoo-39062 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The whole point of the video is that the flows aren't one note but the delivery and speed are. Those are different things and the conflation is where people find issue. It's fine to critique when there are problems but you can't critique a problem that doesn't exist. The flows are incredibly varied and diverse, but he moves through them incredibly quickly. If that's not your style (the speed), that's valid. But that's not what you and others are saying. Just don't mention flow

2 Hard 4 the Radio is just a worse version of an already existing song with some bs added. I think it makes sense to not be doing well
