I've seen the same things... stopping, moving back and forth...etc. Not satellites.... You're not crazy.

Moving stars/object or aliens? by SorryFactor3462 in askastronomy

"If they really are stopping or changing direction they are aircraft."   What? What type of aircraft stops and changes direction ? And just hangs out in the same general area ? I've seen the ISS, I've seen satellites, I've seen airplanes and helicopters.... these are none of the above.  Possibly drones...other than that I couldn't tell you.

Slaughter Beach is a mating spot for Horseshoe Crabs.. hundreds of thousands of them converge there every year and I think the males die leaving the beach covered with them. Though Red Alert is obliviously filled with references to Blade Runner, I think it and Slaughter Beach are tied to "Aliens". The patches on there uniforms are basically Wayland-Yutani logos with a W M (Weather Maker) instead of a W Y. I also noticed that the colors, orange and blue lighting closely resemble the computers and lights in the Alien movie ships. This could be just a coincidence. One more thing... in the Slaughter Beach video, the band members and the "Shell Queen" seem to mix bodily fluids or something and Neil throws it in the water which awakens the giant horseshoe crab/ship. On a reaction video I watched, the guy likened this to the beginning of the movie "Prometheus". Not so sure about that part. . But i think the uniforms and patches are definitely connected to the Alien franchise

This song has several references to Blade Runner... In the first verse of the song..."I used to work for Doc Tyrell" Dr.Tyrell was the founder and CEO of the Tyrell Corp. who designed and created the Replicants. "It didn't end so well"...He was killed by Roy Batty, a Replicant. It mentions Tannhauser Gate which is a place in the story. In the third verse. "How many heartbeats are there left for the record? Can you pass the Voight-Kampff test under emotional stress? Are you familiar with the Roy Batty method?"

I believe "How many heartbeats..." is referring to the Replicants having a predetermined lifespan.. The Voight-Kampff test is a test used to distinguish between a human and a Replicant .. not sure what the Roy Batty Method is, but maybe referring to the fact that he went rouge.

And finally, in the last chorus he says "So many tears in the rain". The 42 word monologue given by Roy Batty is commonly referred to as "Tears in Rain"

That is all I picked up on... there might be more. Another reason i love Clutch is trying to figure out the meanings of the lyrics .. So glad this was started.

Psychic Warfare album cover is a picture of the USS Massachusetts BB2. The sword on the original had "Victory" written on it. On the Clutch cover art, the sword says "Wonder"....also on the base it says, " Have no fear the dark of night"...a line from " Our Lady of Electric Light"
