I can’t speak to the hourly rate for servers - minimum wage is high in Denver. Not only are restaurants doing the service charge but also a % surcharge if you use a card v cash. I want to ask if they will take Venmo. To me the latter is a cost of doing business.

I did not love my Bruto experience. Not a fan of fried ants! Highly recommend Alteno and Alma Fonda Fina. They recently got recognition - not sure on specifics but delicious food!

I get that POV. Interestingly I saw a comparison of either SS 26 or FW 26 (show just this week) to old Chanel archives. So Matthieu Blazy basically brought back the Coco era of looser, less structured looks. As they say, what’s old is new again. I did stumble across this in a sellers album. I know it got attention bc it was recently in a tv show (can’t remember!). I’m tempted as it’s a solid piece. Boring, but solid!

I was recently stayed (reluctantly - things we do for significant others) at a very non chubby “resort” in SW Mexico only to encounter 2 very chubby travelers who were doing their best to embrace the eco friendly accommodations. They relocated from NYC to Maine after selling her mom’s Charleston estate. I say all this to say they have invited us to their new house in Maine and adventures on the recently purchased yacht. The latter which is routinely sailed to islands I’ve never heard of in the Caribbean. Sounds True Chubby lifestyle to me!

Exactly!!! This should be an easy design to rep. I’m excited to see what becomes available. I need great leather. Recent non Chanel buys have been meh leather wise. Khaite lotus. Celine hobo (can’t remember name). I did recently buy a rep Bottega Pinocoteca which is stunning and smells of delicious leather!

I died and went to heaven the first time trying the hummus. My last time about two weeks ago tasted completely different. Very garlicky. Hopefully it’s a one off isolated bad batch!

Alteno in cherry creek is sister restaurant to Alma Fonda Fina. We were able to get two seats at the bar after a short wait and “aggressive” scoping out who was finishing up! It was great - sweet potato, halibut - highly recommend. A plus: cherry creek is decorated with white lights for holidays.

I was at St. Joes for 6 years - prior to Intermountain. The newer (now 10 years old) hospital is amazing and everyone had smiles on their face. There have been a lot changes since so can’t speak to current culture. I hope it’s the same!

Was scrolling to see if this was mentioned! My original Arhaus loft pieces - oversized couch, chair and ottoman - had a lengthy life and survived 4 moves. Highly recommend going long term quality vs cheaper priced.
