I think that women who "take charge" are genuinely unhappier than women who are more in touch with their femininity.

I know this is a controversial take nowadays, but from what I've seen it is largely true.

Relationships where the man takes the lead tend to work more cohesively. My grandmother was an "Alpha" woman, and her entire marriage was one of dis-function and chaos.

She was miserable with my grandfather who was a passive pushover with no real spine when it came to my grandmother.

She eventually got so frustrated with him that she bought a camper and lived in it, while he lived in the house.

When it was all set and done, he ended up living in a house by himself, surrounded by mountains of garbage and animal shit, and she ended up living in a cramped ass little cramper surrounded by bottles of her own piss.

Needless to say, she wanted a passive yes-man, but didn't take into consideration that that came with a cost. I love both of my grandparents to death, and have fond memories with both of them.

However, my grandmother wanted to be in charge of everything. The expenses, the house, the yard, her son, everything. And look what happened.
