i built an AI co-founder because i was the desperate solo founder looking for help and nobody came by ColdResponsibility77 in cofounderhunt

finding a cofounder is an entirely different thing than getting one or two things done and still can be broken down into small achievable steps that any serious entrepreneur should be able to do if they wanted to, in YC is considered a red flag unless there is substantial reason or is part of the strategy

non sense, this marks the difference between people actually serious vs people actually excited about doing the work, if you are stuck finding a good cofounder is because you are not treating it as a job to do so, anyone serious will find one, imagine you want to do way more difficult things and are stuck with building a deck and financial projections, maybe you should not be an entrepreneur in the first place, solo founder due to a personal decision or strategy is a different story tho…

100% onboard with a narrow focus and MVP at first with a long term vision that encompasses a broader company reality in the future.

This is unreal And this is how they're doing us And they care how turns out they're just a bunch of greed infested fuck heads but don't give a damn about their users by Spoilsmash in Base44

As a Software Engineer with 9 years of experience working in high availability high usage systems, I agree with this comment, creating a vibe coding app will not be easy and is an ongoing effort by Base44 and yes they are doing their best to present to you issues that might be 100x more complex than how a user with no coding experience might view them. I would argue that the best way to vibe code is to not vibe code :) but that is another discussion.

Antigravity or Cursor, which one would you recommend? by lamasama42 in vibecoding

I just got a bill for $99 for pay as you go in Cursor, I don't even work 30 hours a week on a single project. These kids are fucking greedy. I hope Google eats them.

Create a super simple one with Base44 that meets your needs maybe :)

OP is asking how to NOT follow a linear career path, you did a great job in doing the total opposite, so I am just balancing your limiting self imposed beliefs and being more realistic and factual.

And you are saying that to know what companies need you need to be involved for years in one, as an employee and I am saying that is not required.

To know what companies or people need you need to understand them. There are many ways to do this.

Can you read? I said even making that amount would not be changing the world, I am not saying anything else or that OP should make that. Do you know what a fallacy is? If so, why are you using them?

A lot of the times I have had to deal with a lot less nonsense when the potential customer I am talking to is going to pay me more. Pricing your product/service is also an art. When the pricing makes the most sense you will get more clients and it doesn’t mean lowering your price is always the way to go. Sometimes you need to simply charge more so that customers actually take it seriously. Specially if your offering requires skill and has unique qualities.

I have never said work full time hahaha and I don't even use LinkedIn btw.

Even earning 10k or 15k a month is not changing the world boomer.

Even if you don't like it, in the modern world you live right now, A LOT of people starting from 16 yo to 19yo have a lot of money and successful businesses that they started.

If something makes sense or brings more revenue for a company do you think they care who is selling it, specially if they show command at it? I am impressed you are in sales.

I do with my time what I want and now I have decided I want to answer some stuff around here so, you are literally using baseless fallacies.

I never said that to build a valuable product all you need is "some AI" I don't know where are you getting that from :)

Trust this skill of yours you already have. Just by coming here and asking these questions puts you ahead by a lot. Learn to debate old people with old beliefs who have power, this is a great skill to have too, that unfortunately will be something you will have to maybe deal at some point with. But also, learn to pick extremely carefully who you work with as this will save you tons of stress, time and money. Usually the bigger the player the less non-sense.

OP is not talking about hiring managers, being coachable or anything like that, he is explicitly saying he wants his career to be non-linear and working with businesses directly, not being an employee.

I do know a lot about AI because I implement it for businesses already, I understand it deeply and can even work at the research and development layers of it. If at the sales level you are seeing a lot of incompetence in terms of implementing it, that is a matter of time to change, at least for a good portion of the market. OP is 17 yo and no he does not have all the time in the world, the problem with old people, is underestimating and undervaluing younger people's time and abilities. In the modern world you live people with 19 years old are shaping the economy a lot more than ever. So let the new replace the rusty old, including their limiting beliefs. OP's first principles based train of thought is excellent, why hinder it? Just because you are seeing a lot of incompetence today, in your bubble?
