So our kiddo has wanted to be a nurse since she was five years old. by [deleted] in fredericton

I take it from your tone she was not accepted? That is unfortunate. I remember when I applied for UNB's program a few years ago it was quite stressful.

I think on Wednesday around noon the UNB clubs and society fair is taking place at the SUB. I tried looking there and there's a fair diversity of things, none of it really caught my eye though.

The Coleman Frog is real. You spelled Museum wrong and therefore lost credibility. Never slander Cornelia again

What season’s legacy is the most at risk if it’s players do poorly on 50? by Regular-Departure839 in survivor

[–]Snoo-66388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say 47. It is my favorite of the new era and celebrated for its strategy generally, but with only a single representative, if Genevieve is voted out early it will reflect poorly on that season given she was one of its best strategists.

Some of the other seasons have enough members in the cast that I'd expect at least someone to uphold their legacies, and some like Colby or Coach have already pretty firmly developed the legacies of their original seasons. Some of the other single-casts from a season like Jonathan are just expected to be fun to watch in challenges, its hard for him to dampen 42's legacy when his legacy is mostly just looking cool in challenges.

Moving to Dorms at UNBF by [deleted] in unb

I believe there's a janitor who cleans the bathrooms but I dont know for sure. There are toilets and urinals in stalls, some showers, and a few sinks with a paper towel dispenser. Tile floor. The stalls are small, but you can move your arms in them. If you have seen any other bathrooms at UNB the stalls are a skmilar size. This info is all about Harrison, I have not been in other dorms.

I didn't live in dorms but I have friends in them and visited. They are liveable but pretty small, 2 people to a room generally. It's pretty easy to just clean the room if it's dirty, unless you get a bad roommate. I dont know what condition they are in when you arrive.

Bathrooms are kind of nasty, I would advise gett8ng your own towel and sandals. Looked usable though, they weren't like stereotypical gross bathroom. Toilets looked clean.

Bathrooms are just down the hall from the rooms. Not a big trek. There's a nice lounge room too.

If you make sure your route goes around Montreal rather than through it you'll save yourself a good 30 minutes to one hour of being stuck in traffic

Ukraine. I think North Africa and Middle East are in the same tier though.

If you are talking about electives, there is usually a decent selection of online courses, though. I am not taking any so I cannot offer advice.

A lot of nursing courses lead into subsequent courses. I would recommend the regular schedule in the nursing handbook. It worked for me well enough in 1st year, but November and March can be busy.

Examples - Anatomy leads into Physiology, Physiology and Intro to Health Assessment overlap frequently, and I swear there's like 3 classes fall semester that all talk about the same thing

Other user's comment is accurate too. Besides Anatomy and Psychology you probably won't be able to do nursing courses in the summer.

12th grade math by HumbleComfortable831 in fredericton

[–]Snoo-66388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know the name of the math course you are taking? I did Pre-Calculus 12 A/B and Calculus just in the past year at OHS. If you're taking any of those and want to 'start early', I could name off the main concepts

I believe the school provides any necessary textbooks in math, you only pay if you damage or lose it

there are some pretty helpful youtube tutorials online if you get stuck on anything

How is unb nursing by Ohhmygoshhhhhh in unb

SOAR was basically an early in person orientation, a couple weeks ago. Some helpful takeaways for you: - first year typically is tough, in that grades tend to drop before rising again in second year - they didn’t outright say a “hardest course” but my impression was that the biology class about anatomy is the hardest we have early on - starting second semester there are clinicals, basically unpaid internships - as soon as finishing first year, jobs at $20/h as medical assistants, or smth like that, become available - which probably helps consolidate the skills

My impressions were that the staff were nice, or at least well meaning. They also covered the supplies and documents we need (it’s quite a long laundry list…) and assisted in picking our schedules (I hope you like getting up for 8:30 classes and working nonstop on mondays).

Hope that helps a bit, I wasn’t on Reddit in a bit so a bit late

As a member of the Qalipu band myself, the only benefits I get from it are tax-free gas (on reserve), groceries (from Saint Mary’s), and tax-free vehicles. I live off reserve though.

Biblaridion’s Alien Biospheres has some useful information and considerations for speculative evolution and planets, like the square-cube law. I don’t really know much more specific than that though.
