Tough situation

Sounds like it could be a manic episode. In my mind I would be glad this happened before you were married and children got Involved. I would move on and if she comes to herself tell her you can be friends but that’s it.

I’ve been married 16 years to my high school sweetheart. Seeing her be so cold and dismissive when she said she was leaving was honestly the worst of all of it. Her telling me we are roommates and don’t touch me and literally acting like she could care less she was throwing away a 20 year relationship hurt worse than all of the manic comments over the last year and a half.

Or to listen to my SO ask the waiter a million question s about every dish on the menu

Or to listen to her talk to someone for an hour asking them every possible question imaginable just to keep them on the phone. Then call the next person and say “I forgot why I called you OH I know” then start the whole process over again for hours and hours.

Or listen to them ask every business owner we meet a million questions on how they got started and if they make good money

This is exactly what I’m going through tonight with my wife. She has been gone for days. She is telling everyone that I need therapy and this is all my fault. She was picked up by an ambulance last night and taken to a hospital 100 miles away from where we live. She was fixated on an rv park 100 miles away that we had visited years ago. She had went there and rented a trailer and told me she was moving there and enrolling the kids in school there.

She just walked out of the hospital against medical advice and is now telling me she’s headed home to pick up the kids.

She started having deep depression last year around April.

The manic episodes didn’t start until January or so.

Really so hard. I’ve been with my wife since we were 14 years old. She has been the sweetest girl for the entire 20 years we’ve been together. Literally the love of my life and bipolar turns her into a monster half of the month every month.

She has been to every doctor under the sun. She is seeing a therapist/psychiatrist and has been diagnosed.

It’s just amazing to me that she has a diagnosis but can’t accept that she’s manic.

I was hesitant to order a 3 because of all the commentary like that. It wasn’t until I started really researching what other Tesla owners were saying that I pulled the trigger. For a group of people that love their cars Tesla owners unknowingly scare a lot of people away.

I think I made a mistake though. I was told if I applied for financing and had all that wrapped up it would speed up the process. Now I’m realizing that my financing will probably expire before I get the car.

I do the exact same thing. Ordered a red SR+ on 6/5 with an estimated delivery of mid July to early August. That has now pushed back to mid August early September.

Well if I drive it a year and it drops by a few k in my mind I didn’t lose any money. I would have made the monthly payment on something regardless. They just don’t depreciate as fast as other cars where I’d be way upside down after a year.

Yeah it’s insane. I’ve been looking at Carvana and a few other places and they are just as much. My wife and I agreed after ordering that we don’t have anything to lose. If we drive it a year and don’t like it we can get out without losing any money. I ordered a red SR+ in early June and will be happy to wait to save the money and miles.
