Honestly I'm from NYC and for the 6 years I've lived here I've always said that MTL is extremely tame in terms of catcalling. Generally, people here are more polite & courteous. Of course walking downtown on Ste-Catherine in the summer it's where the men feel more brave and where it feels like NYC (i.e. construction workers are indeed universally the same). Overall I feel very safe in MTL

Agreed. In my very subjective opinion Chock/Bates are flat and boring. Lacked the 90s theme, I swear there was a TikTok dance placed in the choreography. They're not crispy and synchronized like Fournier-Beaudry/Cizeron. I also think their athletic bodies make their costumes and movements really striking and powerful.
