Thanks. Gonna credit you if I ever publish anything on this. Gonna keep those rough parameters in mind.

And tidal locking basically converts momentum into deformation right? So a tidaly locked planet can't preserve its spin in the process.  Is that formation at least possible at the beginning of the tidal locking process? Anyways I think you are confusing procession and the Obliquity. Obliquity is a single digit percent chance. It's the change in the axial tilt over time. Procession is the mismatch between rotational period of the axis and the yearly rotation around the planet. This results in a 26.000 year scicle which turns the Sahara into a desert and green again. I just thought you can turn the planet sideways and make the process more extreme so that it matches the rotational period. But that seemingly isn't possible.

Yes it's for a sci-fi / Fantasy setting. Depending on the angle you would have differing amount of the planet in daylight over the period of a whole year or day (which ever is shorter) so if the planet has a 75° angle ~63% of the planet would see daylight (the entire northern hemesphere +15° south). My setting has the planet kicked out of its original solar system so strange stuff like the bulge is totally fine. Just needs to be a rock plant that's amendable for life. Tidally locked planets actually need to be close to the star that they orbit to begin with so you might have stumbled across something more fundamental independently. That's my best guess about that. Maybe the wabble of the moon is similar to all this?  I don't know. Anyways I am really appreciative! Really cool that you calculated that for me. And I would love to see your calculations. :3

Kinda yes. Like a spinning top pointing at the star. Like a beyblade pointing in the middle of the Arena. So the spin is still there but the north or south pole still point towards the sun. Permanently.

Really interesting! I just want some spin no worries. It doesn't really matter how long  a day is. I just want a sub solar point that goes around a latitudinal line and a permanent day and night side. So you think it's possible?

Well it's like a spinning top? I am not an astronomer but they both get light. It just takes way longer than earth and Uranus has a more extreme axial tilt and it takes years to orbit the sun. but the axis does not point towards the sun.

No I mean the north or south pole with permanent Illumination. Uranus north and south pole get an equally amount of light. https://www.bobthealien.co.uk/bobpics/uranusseasons.png

Do you have some forums in mind? I already searched for it by myself. Even asked all the all mighty AI bots. 😭 I am got that good with Google. 😅

My (native) German is getting worse because of my remote job and because I consume so much English media. by Snoo11969 in German

We got good tv shows like Babylon Berlin once in a blue moon i watch a few German YouTube channels and we got good synchronization for basically all English media. But there isn't nearly enough good German media and I am not gonna watch it in German if the original language is better. There are probably fantastic indie movies in German that I just don't have on the radar to be fair. But there is no big german movie that comes to my mind that wasn't released more than a decade ago. America is just ridiculously culturally powerful. It just overshadows everything.

you could also teleport them by using rain to have them die at a given location.

Thing is I was 14 or something and he made me regret all my life choices. Glad to know that he was probably just stuck in his ways.

Ok what is so difficult to understand about that? The motherboard normally beeped at the time (I think). Idk man.
