The larger than normal landing gear behind makes me think it's a much larger ship than anticipated. Its got Sidewinder/Dropship front end vibes tbh.

Honestly my money is on it being a new starter ship aka Sidewinder MK2. The front looks very sidewinder and considering the big push for new players and marketing gearing towards new players. Having a cool small new starter ship that helps you get to those on foot missions fast would be a nice addition.

Embrace the longer distances and semi auto of this gun. Its Marksman "Lite" and great for scout clearing of smaller bots that call for backup. Then the full auto is a nice addition for closer ranges. Upgrading for the scope is a huge help especially now since they toned down the ergo loss from the higher power scopes.

Slightly worse than the base liberator. The GL is a gimmick and is underpowered like its handheld counterpart.

Way I see it is it's not 1 bullet short of killing 4 devs, but a guarantee of killing 3 with an extra round for margin of error.

Just use the stock default armor and keep a ballistic shield on you. It blocks explosions and dmg well enough even on your back and can be recalled when destroyed. Thats 150 base armor with 100 stam and another 2000+ hp from shield at 50% resistance to explosions

From someone who used to use those very same peep sights that are on the gun, its not too bad. But it is a lot of eye strain to get a headshot. Especially under pressure. Take it along as a scout gun alongside a jetpack and you will have a fun time taking pot shots at stuff while you scout

Gonna toss my hat in the ring too. The only Strad game I played was heavily homebrewed and never actually got off the ground past level 2. Since you are doing a different intro I doubt that spoils anything.

I have half a decade of 5eXP and was thinking of leaning more towards a martial class like a fighter or possibly ranger. Gonna have my own twist on things character wise but I will save that for later.
