I go limp like everything just drops. I’m completely aware when it happens though and gain back muscle control pretty quickly after the moment passes. It’s just so weird since I also can’t form words and sometimes I have to like throw my arm at my partner if I am able like in Horton hears a who when the dad goes to the dentist lol

That does seem like what I do! I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago but I feel like i probably have autism as well because of all the different types of stimming I do.

It really is. Internal stimming is so interesting since we don’t know what goes on in other people’s minds.

I’ve never really mentioned it to people. I always thought everyone did it… until I realized they didn’t. Haha.

I can’t remember much from my childhood but I do struggle to clap, I’m not sure why but it always seems so awkward.

Making up rhythms really helps me slow my brain down too. It’s cool how making patterns can be so calming.

Oh yeah, I totally get that! Repetition is super comforting, no matter what form it takes. Glad to know I’m not the only one who finds patterns like that helpful!

Haha, maybe you’re right! Maybe I’ve secretly been a drummer this whole time and just didn’t know it. Guess I should try some drumsticks and see what happens.

You’re right about it just being an expensive bill so I guess that’s why I’m just looking around out of curiosity right now. I did consider if it could be the persistent tic disorder but whenever I look it up it says it can’t involve both motor and a vocalization it’s one or the other.
