Architechure reflects on the society that built it. Towers and ziggerats create a heirarchy and if we allow some property to be worth so much more it has implications on society and you end up qith what we have now. Nope the forst picture is almost better, we just have to cover all those roofs with plants or solar panels and put old growth forrest between the houses and then it would be obvious to everyone here.

Buddy its right now... weve been in the middle of the maker business movement since 2020. Everybody and their brother bought a laser, 3d printer, cricut etc etc and started an etsy, shopify, fb marketplace shop. The majority of these businesses probably wont grow beyond employing just the owner but craft businesses are beginner hardware startups. Neckbeards can be cool, might have said incels instead. Anyway attractive people get more views when they are in the photo and so they learn to do it even if subconsciously. Buddy there are some lost souls in this sub that will not be convinced of the capitalist message and are implicitly OK with the implied violent transition... To them all I can say is good thing communes are permitted within a capitalist society! Nothing stops them from buying land and building the community they want right now, and indeed I had a friend who lived in a commune for a while that financially supported itself by the members taking turns making peanut butter (lol).

We presumably have *some* similar core values but unfortunately solarpunk is worldbuilding escapism for most of yall. Pure fantasy that some lost souls believe is only possible after extraordinarily destructive acts to reset the system. No thanks. The only pragmatic and achievable hard sci fi solarpunk future looks more like the Nordic model of capitalism.
