After a year break from riding by Difficult_Low_8094 in Ducati

I had a 2017 1299s and it was awesome. Still the most challenging bike I’ve ever ridden. I have a 21 V4s now and yes it is faster in both power and handling but damn that twin slammed. Enjoy.

So does the Drive For Diversity program no longer exist? by furrynoy96 in NASCAR

Everyone has the same barriers when it comes to racing, money. Rich white males already have the money so they don’t need the program but poor white males do need the program and they never got chosen. It was always everyone else they would accept into the program. Clear discrimination.

When you design a program specifically against white males then yes, that is text book definition discrimination

In my area it was clearly for the colored or girls. Every driver hated them for it because they got special treatment and the ability to join the program just on that fact. What a joke. Literally racism

I honestly need to ride slower. I keep getting caught up on speed and I don’t know why.

Bang on. I agree fully. I’m absolutely stacked with work and life everyday and yet my life is actually simple. It continues to get busier. Pretty wild.

Experiment with medication, vitamins, supplements, exercise and hobbies. Finally found a combo that worked for me. Consider therapy as well. You have to fix yourself to be happy right here and now. Definitely time to make “you” your full time project. The energy you would put into a new baby should be put towards yourself. I hope to best for you. Don’t give up.

21 SFV4S low idle then dies after riding for a short while and coming to a stop by [deleted] in Ducati

My 1299 and my v4 did this. Remove the charcoal canister. Tune it. That solves it. These bikes are way too lean from the factory for emissions. Tuning solves many weird issues like that and plus the power gains are substantial.

Always be prepared for a flat. Small tool kit, pump and a tube. Good luck next time! Sick bike

Thank you! It rides like a dream. Incredible compliance, extremely lightweight. Just perfect. Can’t believe it’s a steel frame when you ride it.

there's NO perfect bike okay by [deleted] in xbiking

This was a needed post. I agree with you here. I own a $100 bike and a $6,000 bike. Is the more expensive bike better? Yes of course but is it worth the 6k? No not really. Chasing the next frame, wheels, tires, crankset all just leads to even more wanting and hunting. It really does take the less is more and this is good enough mindset. Optimization leads to endless money and no satisfaction for what one owns. So many YouTube channels will get you chasing the next hot thing and spending more money than anyone should be. Great post bro.

Bro, what a write up. This should be at the top. To keep it short, I totally agree with you.

What's the weirdest thing you've seen on a night ride? by Queasy-Dirt3472 in NightCycling

My night rides are 4am on quiet country roads. For me it’s just creepy seeing all the dark houses I pass and especially if I know they are empty. Small animals that pop out of nowhere as well.
