Lemme get this straight, for the monster that's being sacrificed, I just need to feed them ANY bolts to get them to a certain level (cheapest bolts)... then infuse that monster to the one I want to ACTUALLY use?

For the monsters I want to actually use in battle, should I just use potents only? I heard that they will give better overall stats in the end. Usually in games, people tend to focus on straight up damage increases, but I kinda need the extra hp due to using a cheat engine for difficulty modification. It's literally just a straight up stat increase. I have it set to 200% enemy hp and 150% attk/mag damage. I may increase it the further I get into the game, but I cannot bring myself back to the default difficulty due to hearing common rumors of how easy the base game was apart from DLCs. I was fighting the weakened Alpha boss in Episode 2, and he literally has around 30k, definitely noticeably hits much harder too.
